shit im just generally itchy all over my back, not due to tat or anything, just really itchy, and I want to scratch so bad.. but im afraid of itching the tattoo so im sitting here, suffering. must itch back but how?
DON'T SCRATCH. Only way to heal the itch is to apply pressure or gently smack it. This will be over soon.

has anyone been watching this show on spike channel called the ink master since we're talking tatt's??

it's a pretty cool show, they have about, idk, 10 or so artists from around the us competing for $100k, each week they have different styles that they have to do on people..
i think the last one was black and grey, they did a tribal show, one to show line work, etc etc.. pretty cool show imo, and it's cool to see who's the most well rounded tattoist of the bunch..
i have my ideas of who might win the show overall, i think it's going to be this guy johnny, or one other guy i forget his name atm, but i'm sure time will tell..

and ps urca, cool tatt, looks great, this guy on the ink master just fucked one up pretty badly on the show, which is why i originally brought up the show, not trying to hi jack or anything.. :)

I've been wanting to get a tattoo for so long, the pain part is the least of my worries. I'm more worried about having what I get done come out looking perfect, I'd hate to have a shitty looking tat.
I got a name on my chest that was really shitty. I got it when I was 16 on some guys couch. I just recently burned it off. It's gone. Taking a long time to heal, but...i'd rather have the scar.

Holy Crap! There's an omnipotent elephant head on your back part. What if people start saying prayers to your shoulder?
lol let them pray. its more a symbol to me than what i espouse as my own religious views. I believe everyone worships the same god under different names, so if this is how hindus see god, then so be it. I like what he is and what he does in the stories, his meaning, whether or not he exists

So Im planning my next tattoo and here are two ideas

A) Mehndi Inspired Owl:
5750652459_3d8cb47606_z.jpg If I do this Im gonna have the artist fix it up and put his own thing on it, this isn't quite as refined as I like

B) Alphonse Mucha style woman:
belle-epoque086.jpgnouveau_poster_8.jpgtumblr_lgvkkjqHLr1qarf55.png My only issue is if it's not executed right its gonna look bad. Worse than if the owl was messed up

What do you think?

The one on my shoulder? Almost two hours. Outline took like 45 min, then the rest was a little over an hour

I think the content and shapes of the owl would compliment your other tat well, but the other option seems so romantic and would go with your hair, you could have it as a full back piece with the other two tats adjoining on each shoulder...
