Yea, I hear ya. I got the power figured out. Nothing like adding a breaker to the old panel. T-5s are just so small considering what I am trying to do, and I would need a shit ton of them. T-8s, Im not using them for anything, That happens to be the best storage space I have in the house. If the room fills out to the walls then I will flip them on the same circuit I have the 400w MH in the parabolic in.

yeah, i know what you mean, my house had one extra 40 amp breaker, i changed it to a 2- 20 amp 120v breaker. now it supplies two bloom rooms, two different wire runs, it feels great to have a seperate breaker that your not scared of popping!

My next room will be wired for the grow rather than trying to make do. I am so done with the the current house right now, so I am getting stoked to move. Got rid of a few huge boxes of random grow room shit today. Continuing further through the house... Watching some golf...... smoking some buds......

A good day on the golf course. I could use some video games in my life. Plants are looking real good with the Voodoo Juice. Growing, healthy new leafsets daily.

Good seeing you back, Wonder - saw you over at VG a bit, and then nothing.............curious, why'd you decide to go back to horizontal?

Just because you didn't feel like engineering something for one last grow, or was there something about vertical you didn't like?

I'm gonna build a PVC octagon and give it a go after this upcoming harvest, so I'm curious what issue(s) you might've had with it.

Ok. I love Vertical. On this specific run I decided to go horizontal because of veg time. A friend of mine flowered out 1 Wonder Woman under a 1000w, and ended up with a few ounces, where I pulled almost 4 ounces per plant on vertical.

Bulb placement drove me fucking nuts. Having different "tiers" of plants would have helped eliminate this issue, because my plants were not large enough(yet to big for tiers). I didn't get that nice big stretch I was hoping for when I flipped.

One thing that made me nervous, was the bulb getting dirty with foliar sprays, and dust.

I will be growing vertical once again. 4000w flip flopped. (1) 4000w horizontal room, and then (1) 4000w vertical room( save a few bucks on reflectors, and 4X4 tables)

The bulb placement concept was frustrating and seemed much higher than it should have been. Think I would stack 2 1000's next time to alleviate these issues......... I would have done more horizontal vegging, than I did, and only veg vertically for 2 weeks but not a whole lot more unless you have space to move the plants further from the bulb.

Beware of fire, all it could take is a nice bud to grow right into the light........

Not too much brother just been working a whole shit load and getting my house ready for the baby. Sadly no grow journals or pics till we move up north to NC. If you could only see my man shit is going great got it all dialed in and running as smooth as can be. I picked up the Humboldt County's Own trio pack Bushmaster, Snow storm ultra, and Gravity. Gotta say the bushmaster and then ssu work freaking great. Haven't had a chance to try the gravity yet probably next watering as this haze's life cycle is nearing an end. The bushmaster worked very well in containing the haze's stretch. I wish I could post a picture for you wonder, words will have to suffice though.

Words will suffice for now. I am a fan of the SSU, first bottle of stuff I ran out of. Haven't used the rest.

are you staying local with the move or are you done with your current town altogether?
Headed a few hundred miles east...... Changing schools up, and need a bigger house to grow in...... Bought a 10X20 green house frame, any ideas?

Good luck on the move. New schools are always fun. I always like to think they are worried about me at a new school... like I'm the smart one that's going to mess up their curve.

Give em hell bro. Looking forward to the new setup.

I'm here for this one too... I am just always looking forward.

Good info, thanks - I'm gonna do a 5 or 6 tier PVC octagon with a vertitube running down the middle, so bulb placement is gonna be an issue for me as well.

Should be interesting, that's for sure.

Thanks Jig. I like changing it up. If I stay in one place to long it feels like the walls are closing, nonetheless almost 4 years at a 2 year school.......
I need to find you journal toooo..... It keeps disapearing....

Yea yea, I am thinking Metal halide supplemented greenhouse and use some light deprivation to get them to bud a little earlier in this zone 4 climate...

You got it. What I wrote Raider should be going pretty soon too. Probably gonna stick to potted plants for now, or maybe some raised beds if I can get a hold of some solid topsoil....

Looking forward to it Bob. I guess what I was saying is that my common sense of bulb placement was not correct in my vertical endeavors.... I think its definitely a good way to grow, and I will definitely do a few things differently from the get go.......
