Purple from the start, although it is reccomended for outdoors. Ordered on mistake, but very happy so far. This thing is gonna hit the ceiling I think!
6k no big deal, it can be just as easy or easier than what you're working with now in hydro. The biggest problem you'll face is probably just trimming it all. You and your wife may be busy trimming constantly if you can't think of some trustworthy help, but there are trimming machines if you have the cash for them.
At any rate the "growing it" will probably be the easy part from now on.
I hear ya. Im doing what you did. Its looking like about 800 for ballasts, cords, sockets and bulbs (6k HPS). Im not to worried about the growing part like you say. Security and of course trimming. May be able to find some help to trim but would def take some security measures, like not taking them to the grow location, and doing it off site. Little skeptical on the trim machines, but if the weight was there, I would be fine to auto trim the commercial product, and trim as much as possible by hand for myself. My wife actually likes trimming more than I do. She is probably better at as well, more attention to detail, and she has the patience. How do you feel about documenting the above mentioned grow on RIU? Thanks OregonMeds
