lol, dude ive been doing this exact same thing all week! what i did is let my hash sit out and get dry, then crumble it up and toss it in one of those little tiny electric grinders, from there i toss the hash into a smaller mason jar and throw in some 91 iso. i put the cap on and shake like hell then switrl a bit, then shake some more, after that i like to throw it under a blanket or in some cloths or a towel, and kinda forget about it for a few minutes, then i come back and do the same thing. now with herb i would normally do quick washes with no soak time like this, but the hash i have is actually fairly decent and from what iv seen, no green plant matter, anyways, after that short soak, i find with the hash im using now, about85-90% of the initial starting material has disolved by. from there i begin my filtering, i have an extra 5 pc sharpstone grinder that i use for this, i took the the grinder and removed the two keif screen sections of the grinder, not the actual screen, but the entire peice of the grinder containing the screen, i put the lower micron screen on top of the higher, and in the second chamber i cut and placed 1 coffee filter, overtop of the courser screen and screw them together, i place this overtop of a clean sterile jar, then i pour through my grinder screen contraption, directly into the other jar, it takes a bit but i find with the top screen in place of my coffee filter, catches most everything leading to less cloggage in the coffee filter, once its done i swish around some iso in my first jar and rinse it out good, then i hit it one more time for good measure, now i take a small SS strainer and place it over that jar with a slightly trimmed down coffee filter and pour my mix through this now and back into the initial starting jar, once thats all filtered, i take it to my double broiler and toss it into my dish and let it evaporate, good shit actually. where you from man if you dont mind me asking?
