Wilting Under T5 Lights

So first grow. I made the mistake of initially starting seeds before I had my tent and T5 setup. Plants spent about a week under one small CFL until tent arrived. As a result very leggy. After reading about transplanting leggy plants on a sticky i did replant with the soil a bit below the cotyledons.

Most of the plants look good but a couple are very wilted. Now I have placed the T5 maybe 3-4 inches above plants and it is NOT too hot for my hand. As I have read if it does not burn me it will not burn the seedlings.

Just not sure if it is transplant shock or what else could cause a couple of plants to wilt so badly.

I did water after transplant and also took advice from forum and ditched peat pots in favor of solo cups.

Any thoughts? Normal to lose a couple of seedlings as a newbie? Not the end of the world but I'm a bit disappointed .

Oh yes, temp holding at 78-80. RH is in low 30's. i tried using a damp washcloth in the tent and also misted the sides. Did not do much to increase RH.

I guess next stop is the drug store for an inexpensive humidifier?

Normal.... for someone who has not done it before,if you damaged or disturbed the tap,It should be fine but can
take time to recover from the shock.

It can look real bad,then the next day look great.

How long ago did you transplant? It's either a bit of stress from transplanting or over watering perhaps. It'll be difficult to diagnose without pictures. Also, you can bring them closer to the light if you want. Some times mine end up growing right into the bulbs with no ill effects as long as there is airflow.

This kind of sounds like my situation! I finally put mine in the darkroom but don't have a real light yet. About to go to the store and rectify that. Probably going T5 myself after all, and I need a small fan for my darkroom. Mine never wilted or anything but it's like they're frozen in time, 3 days now and absolutely no fucking change.

Not all seeds are able to recover from missteps. I always pop ~ 10 seeds then select the best/strongest

As you can see one of my seedlings has a twin. Seems like I have 2 plants growing from one seed! As mentioned a couple are wilted pretty bad. I may have overwatered one of them but I'm hesitant to let soil dry as plant looks pretty dry up top although the soil is damp.

It's a real learning curve not too dry not too wet but just right.

I know to let the soil go dry on top before watering so maybe i should stop fucking with the wilted ones. If they die they die !!

First grow Cannot beat myself up over this.

BTW: Appreciate the input. Oh yes is 35% RH too low ??
