Will LST/HST/an Auto Improve the Yield

So what is the consensus on this? I see that some do and some don't train their autos.

Will training(lst/hst) autoflowewrs imrove your yield by weight or is it better to just let them grow?

I top my photo period plants to fill out the room and keep them shorter but I have not noticed a significant improvement in the yield and would not bother if height was not a restriction.

I scrog (screen of green and bend them sideways) and I have had better results. More light gets to more of the plant. More bud.

I think a lot will depend on your set-up.

I scrogged a pineapple express and it got massive withing a week or two of my spreading it out across the squares i set up.

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: Allowing more light to more growth points will always help. Just be careful with super-micro autos and removing apical dominance, which could be detrimental to bud quality. (tons of axial popcorn when the genetics want to grow a single little cola)

Not a good idea to top autos, they dont veg long enough to take adv of the topping. Just mass plant them.

OK, so now as soon as they get bigger, I'll LST one of each strain and leave 2 of each to grow naturally and we'll see what happens.

I topped a Lowryder at three weeks. I figured it was the least potent so I did it for shits and giggles. Two weeks later it has four heads and little tard buds. We shall see what becomes if it.
