Will I get better results moving to hydro from Soiless DTW?

I use HP 3 mix soil. Coco Choir, peat's moss, and soil. I've got Gaia Green all-purpose veg and Bloom and Namutodes every 2 weeks fish shit and when I flower I'll be using Boggie brew for great sticky buds.

This is chemical free..... And is great when you harvest a quality you have never grown....
You need to try it.... I can tell you how to do it all. Just ask.

Question #2, Does anyone out there use one ratio of nutes for the whole life cycle and just increase strength in flower? That would be really nice.
some people say they do...i find that it causes P and K deficiencies in flower, and a lot of plants show signs of N tox...i use mostly the same ingredients, but at different ratios...the same amount of N in flower and veg, but a lot more P, K, mag, and sulfur in flower

drain to waste hydro. best of both worlds. and i can leave town for 2 weeks too.
Yes you can but what do you do if something fails and your not there in the next 2hrs if you have that long too save them.... I'm not dissing you. I'd like to do it too. But to busy and water grows have to be monitored a lot. That's all I'm saying.

we just lost power for 18 hrs due to a wind storm and they're still fine.

i'd have battery back up if i really was scared to lose a crop.

I agree, the stuff I just grew in DTW is some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve never experienced fresh terpenes like that before.
Im not comparing soil to DTW as I haven’t grew in DTW yet, I was rather comparing soil to deep water culture.
I ran black cherry punch in both rDWC & soil, I vastly preferred the cultivar that was grew in soil. The buzz can be debatable but the taste and smell was superior in soil. Dunno about soilless DTW, but would love to try it some day.
Granted, it’s not a perfect side-by-side trial and it’s based on personal opinions.
I believe this has some validity due to the fact mychorrizia isn’t capable of surviving in a hydro environment, I suspect the fungi is a contributing factor to the stronger taste/smell stemming from soil grows when done right.

I use collected DTW runoff outside for potted containers / ornamentals - so no waste down drain.
Have you ever re-used runoff in a grow? I'm about to test it out on a couple. They wont get 100% runoff, will be watered down or added to fresh solution to keep EC on target.

When I did coco Id take the first runoff and pour it through again. No one seemed to complain.I also had a rdwc system going,3 plants.Id pour coco runoff into the rdwc res.In a pinch Id also pour water from rdwc res into the coco pots. Why waste it.
