300w Mars is good for about 5 sq/ft. 2.2 x 2.3... A bit less if they arent Samsung Diodes. Mars doesnt use Samsung. They use SMD.

For a 4 x 4 area you need the HLG 650R 610w.

I did do a lot of cutting and pruning during veg is that possibly reason for the smaller stalk

You got almost the equal to a 400w HID.

The 250w HID is good for 3 sq/ft.

180w LED is good for 4.5 sq/ft.

So the light you have is good for a 3 x 2.5 area.
