Nice quotes, from two of my favorite dead people. Epicurus was the inspiration for the phrase 'epicurean delights' when referring to good food, yes or am I mistaken?

Just had an acid flashback and I had the intuition that in death I am going back to the stars, back to the macro-cosm. I am going from singularity and separatism to the infinite and whole. Sorry you have no idea how intense that realization was i could somehow feel what death is really like.

My theory of Hell... A loving God wouldn't put a soul into an everlasting place that was meant to punish souls... I'm guessing a soul sent to hell is simply a soul by itself forever. In no time at all the soul will go insane and not won't know up from down.

I have been pronounced medically dead, and the experience is the void.

The sad thing is most people in the west wouldn't even consider death as something like sleep. It's pretty much like epicurus said, when ur here, you can't be there. But you can always flip to there, its just we can't see them at the same time because we lost connection with conscious attention. But the only way to get there is by being here, so this is really saying they are the same, or that they don't contradict.

I'm just an old country boy who doesn't concern himself with what may be . For now I'm here in this moment. When my time on this world comes to an end that's when I'll find out what comes next ! Maybe I'll be aware from whence I came or will know where I'm headed or perhaps there's nothing. One thing for sure we all will get the opportunity to find out !

I somehow believe that humans with their thoughts and emotions form a sort of conciousness that is everywhere. When we die, we either join that entity and become one with everything. Basically we live on (a sort of heaven) but only if you want to join that energy. If for instance, you were an evil and malicious person with no desire to believe in such things, then maybe you are blocked from said entity and somehow wander aimlessly in the void (hell)?

Good theory. Maybe if you are evil (bad). You are consumed and joined with a more hellish entity. Due to your own evil proclivities. You believe. Since you are evil. A greater evil will have or cosume you.

The problem with these quotes is that they are from the past and we can't fault these historical figures for being ignorant but what's your excuse Tyler ?
