Why is my friends weed different?

Now I'm not no smoke expert, finished my small harvest for 2 strains and got second major grow now and I got really high property first time with my own strain, now I tried my friends weed a week ago and I got a insta high from smoking his literally 10seconds, but my strain I smoke I smoke nothing happens, and then the high is slow but it just adds up by 2-3 hours I'm literally so fuckeddddddddddd. I thought using same method such as (cooking, smoking) suppose to be the same, the highs both feel the same and my strain is a high thc too 25%.

A lot of variables.

Nutrients
harvest time
elemental conditions
stresses
Humidity

All can affect terpene profile and look of buds

Which would be the best variable in a weed? like some people harvest early because of different high some people wait till the plant literally is dead, what variable would a good quality weed consist of including or not including of the bulletpoints you listed.

Of the bud or of the plant?
Both if you've got them.

You say the genetics are sound so how did the grow go? Were the conditions good? How did they look at harvest?

Lot for anyone to work out from a "why is my weed crap" thread. prob easier if you just throw up a pic or two.

To be honest with you, not great, I've ran into multiple problems which reduced my yield greatly, I ordered an ebay kit but turns out the fan was weak cubic metre whatever you measure the air flow in. Which caused high temp problems, then my other strain got eaten by my cat half of it, when it finely recovered its growth was stunted greatly and my other strain was double its size and then I made the mistake of feeding them both the same strength nuts which the smaller one needed less so it ended up burning the plant and I ended up getting 4-5 nug size of a thumb.
My other strain I lacked in judgement and got very paranoid seen as I burn my other one and fed it less and read the signs wrong which was lacking in nut, I also tried to super crop it which ended up breaking 2 of them stems, I picked bad pressure points to do the super crop, you're suppose to super crop on the young newly top part of the stem which is still green and soft I did it on the hard stiffened part of the stem.
And then my ballast died so had to wait 4 days for my new one I'll upload pics soon I'm a little paranoid about uploading pics on the web lol.

Here are the pics, the first pic strain one on the left strain 2 on right, pic 2 my last harvest big bang 2, 3rd picture is my last harvest + my new strains in veg started them under 12/12 then after harvest switch to 18/6, and the last pic of the 5 plants are my current grow.

I usualy use a tool to remove exif data before uploading pics, I'm not sure about this, but I think pics taken with a mobile phone might contain data about your location (GPS).
Well I've turned my gps off I don't like using the location feature, especially it shows up in social medias and other apps too.

Your bud is sub standard because of the mistakes you've highlighted above.

Don't be put off though, at least you can recognise them as such.

My buddies 600watt dual arc smokes my 1000watt hps everytime we even yield almost the same. He has been growing for 15+ years vs my 4 years. His stuff taste better, burns better, high hits my body quicker but he cures longer. All about the experience and environmental factors.

Correct, I'm running a 400w hps, btw it kind of makes sense 600w hps is suppose to give you the most yield, because you get the most watts per lumen or whatever.

True, but it will give nothing like what an experienced grower can do with a 1000watt hps. 90,000 lumens < 140,000. One day i will get it right lol
