Why I think the "Fermi Paradox" is no longer a valid way to think about the universe

Lets talk about the recent "alien disclosure"! So I have been thinking a lot about aliens and the possibility of other life in the universe ( always have been tbh but with the recent stuff in the news more so).. in this post I want to focus on the Fermi paradox and what I think the solution is to this... first this is the Fermi Paradox:
"The Fermi paradox is the discrepancy between the lack of conclusive evidence of advanced extraterrestrial life and the apparently high likelihood of its existence."

So with that... I purpose that the solution to this paradox is very obvious.... that evolution is NOT technologically based. What if our entire universe is basically a a giant fish bowl... I just think given all the information and the math.... it just seems so obvious...
I don't know where else to go with this thought... I would love some discourse! Also... how to you become a theoretical physiscts because I feel like this is the things they think and do lol

I'm not really sure what you are trying to say. Evolution is not technologically based? I would agree with your statement but how does that pertain to the Fermi Paradox?

The Fermi Paradox basically says that even though we should see signs of life in many places in the universe, no matter how long, how hard or how far we look we can't find any. Have you read through the proposed explanations to the paradox? I find them fascinating. But the one that seems obvious to me is distance. The universe is fucking big, and time and space are always connected. So basically, the 14b years the universe has been around is not enough time for life to have found each other. In fact, the time needed may even exceed the time that the universe will be around.
