It is not, and mind you I tried planting when the root was sticking out a little with the seed almost amputating it. No growth. Got better results this time. Now I did not plant sideways and down a little but really, I should call this the germination challenge lol send you the seed who ever get a plant wins a shitty plant no one wanted anyway.
What seed demands a certain method of germination to live? Probably a seed not worth your time. I could try it on my other seeds that are of same quality but really, if it takes that to survive when clearly the others do fine, I think it is splitting hairs. They need something to pull their shells off, not a thin blanket, hell, that shallow in nice large fiber coco, the light gets to it and it stops developing or stretching and starts to rot, used to read forums of people asking what to do on this when it happened, matter fact probably the time I looked into tying the method and was like wow just do what worked 99% the time.
