Why did I get such disappointing yields on 2 of my plants?

Imo I just think the 3 days of dark f'd with it like you said to start, especially if you're seeing good yields before and after off the same strain. Cause also like you stated a clone should have and produce close if not exact results as the mother. They all looked good minus that one bro. If I ever do the dark period which I have in the past its at the end of the flowering cycle. (:
Just a update I threw another of those OG Kushes by that same breeder, It has fattened up nicely. t. This my keeper strain, the 4 more messages...og kush. This thing finishs in less than 8, and is so damn funky! If I lost this cut I would buy it again.
So it had to be that abuse they took being in the dark, or something else i did.

Excellent I was asking in the hopes that u didn't flush if u had said u did flush I would have went on about how flushing at the end of the cycle can reduce yield ect .... I'm assuming ur cause is genetics if your growing in soil I have ran the og but it was a 67 day flowerer I have noticed it doesn't like a high e.c but it likes more constant feedings I was feeding at 1.8 at peak flowering .. anyways I would also recommend that u use more F.I.M and LST supercropping and all in all Scrog and even canopy will get that even light distribution from ur reflector to the places the plant needs it the most ... also with defoliating under the net to use that energy solely for the canopy all in all I would pick a better breeder and use some of the techniques mentioned to get more light to all your plant instead of just the very top colas.. another technique I use is what I call my medium dry out technique I use this is soil and hydro but obviously in hydro it's a little different but for soil basically if I was feeding at an e.c of like 1.8 e.g I would feed with that to about 30 percent runoff then I let it dry out almost completely and then pound it with double your containers volume in water at a low e.c like 1.1 after let your container dry out again until almost dry and then pound it with an e.c of 1.8 again ... I do this every week in my coco and I used to do it in soil and it has added 30 percent to my yield I get about 2 g per watt depending on the genetics.. another thing I noticed is my indica dominant phenoof og that I ran liked it's highest e.c level on day 35 so I'd plan my flowering out and have it so I had a flush with 1.1 then a dry period and then a feeding with 1.8 on day 35 I try ed this with cuttings from same mother but with different days and I found that day 35 is the day that my og needed that extra pk boost the most so Id aim for this ... BTW I prepLan. . Right now I'm running a pink phenotype of the og which actually looks more sativa dominant but I I've projected my feeding schedule up until harvest it just helps me calculate the days where specific genetics respond better to different things .. might sound stupid but it works
no not a big flush guy, unless it's real green. But I never flushed the two plants in question. You are righ OG's are not known for their yields, I vegged it till it was a nice bush under a 600w MH. I left way to much small growth go under the main canopy, that and maybe being a little gun shy on nutes, being I foxtailed it on the run before. And it was a pretty unknown breeder that has popped up on a few seed banks, including Gorilla, where they came from. I was pretty ignorant when dealing with seedbanks, I've only grown out Breeders Boutique gear and have never had a reason to buy beans elsewhere, more than happy with the quality. I won a contest, got to pick any 10 beans I wanted out of the whole bank. I clicked on breeders on the site, all breeders are listed in alphbetical order except for Feminized Seeds. They have them right on top. I wanted to try feminized seeds, being I have grown out regular beans in the past. Anyway seemed to good to be true, when i found out i won, i didn't want to waste anytime picking something and missing out. So I clicked on feminized seeds not knowing it was a breeder, i thought it was a collective of breeder's feminized seeds. Live and learn, beans were free, but wish I had done a little more research and ordered something from a well known/documented breeder. But I feel I lucked up on the OG, It finishes FAST, and the yield isn't bad for an OG Kush. It has that unmistakable make your stomach turn smell. I like it. I still have a few more cutting in veg. I will be keeping the growth focused on the top, seemed to be a difference maker on this last plant.
