Some people have been explaining how this was going to happen since it was suggested.
The ACA was supposed to be funded by young healthy people who did not need the care and thus would have to be forced into buying insurance. That hasnt worked and wouldnt work. But like the immigration problem, if the government lets it go on too long and become completely unfunctional then it can step in and declare the problem too big and in the case of the ACA the solution will be to suggest universal healthcare because 'ACA' is too big to fail. In the case of immigration it is to declare we have to legalize all the immigrants because again the problem is too big.
Government is the problem. It creates problems, expands the problems and then suggests more problems to fix the problems they created in the first place.
This was a contrived problem as Obama clearly stated it was a stepping stone to universal healthcare. It was designed to fail. Their plan is working to a T.
Now suddenly people will face enormous premium increases in a product that they cannot legally discontinue. Basically it is another tax with an incredible increase in the rate year over year. THANKS OBAMA!!!

Actually, Bush Jr. changed those rules for calculating the Unemployment Rate in his first 3 months in office.

The ACA came from a right wing think tank, Romney used it in Massachusetts and it does well but then again he had support from his State legislature unlike Obama has gotten from the right.
As a kid I learned Democrats help the poor and Republicans help the rich 50 years after I learned that lesson it's still the same shit and dumb White folks vote against their interest.

Healthcare is not a right. Once we treat it like a product or service the costs can drop. Until then, government will keep making it extremely expensive through legislation and regulation.
