Why are there some seeds in my auto crop

Hey just a heads up I’m a complete beginner at growing however there is something I cannot find the answer to anywhere. I recently harvested my first crop just one purple kush auto flower however it had seeds in it and not a lot like I’d expect from it being pollinated by a male but only about two dozen or so. We had a bit of a mixup with the light cycles of the plant and it had a full 12 hours of dark 2 days in a row mid flower as supposed to having a 24hr lights on. Could this have caused enough stress for it to hermit? Obviously I’m gonna try my best not to make too many post toke decisions like changing the light cycle on an auto randomly in the future but any tips or knowledge is very welcome!

Yeah your plant was a Hermie and it pollinated itself don't plant any of those seeds they will turn out hermie as well.
Well I guess you could grow those seeds if you don't mind a few seeds in your personal grow and the bud is still killer. Picked out seeds stem from my smoke all through high school back in the day.

Yeah it smoked amazing when the seeds where picked out I’m probably gonna save the seeds in case I wanna try some of that bud again because it was still gas

In my knowledge j-dog is wrong. Stress is not passed down genetically, there is no way that hermaphroditic reproduction due to stress can be passed through and present itself for no reason on a daughter plant. What you have are feminised seeds (perhaps some under developed) that will grow perfectly if given the right Conditions. The strain however may be sensitive and could nanner again if you mess up even slightly.

That makes more sense to me as it was environmental and not genetics that caused it. Yeah I’ll probably give them a try outdoors this summer and see how it goes
