Why are the roots not growing out

Honestly, you are better off starting from scratch, new plant. To recover that plant from root rot is a waste of time IMO. You will get to a harvest faster if you start over.

The reason you have root rot is a lack of oxygen at the roots. Saturated medium means it's suffocating the roots and providing the environment for pythium and the like.

I never had much luck with rock wool because it holds so much water.

If you intend to top feed I suggest you follow @TintEastwood 's lead on this one and look into coco or if you are wanting to do flood and drain LECA is my preferred medium.

May I ask if that was grown from seed?

off topic funny story. i ordered southern ag from amazon to see if it works as well as hydroguard. i waited 10 days instead of the usual 2-3.

then when i finally got it....empty bubble wrap. nothing inside.

cant even find it anywhere locally.

ya Ive ordered from amazon countless times...first time this has happened and to a bottle of fungicide of all things. mailman's side hustle is probably growing lmao.

all good though got a refund but guy doesnt want to send another GFF bottle to me anymore until he "solves this stealing issue first.". so im stuck buying bottles of water hydroguard sadly.

Hmm what seller did you get the GFF from on amazon? I just checked my amazon history and I have picked up one bottle from Southern Ag themselves and one from "thelandscapersstore" both were delivered quickly.
