that works great, just remember to harden them off. the lights in your tent may look bright to you, but they aint shit compared to the sun. set em out for a couple of hour a day, the every couple of days add an hour, by the time they can stay out, they'll be used to it and won't get sunburned

I had to hang a sunscreen above, aphids were an issue, peppers seemed to be 2nd on their list compared to brassicas? (broccoli, cauliflour, brussels sprouts). Getting even just window light and a light breeze from an open window can help in the hardening off.

and f you @B166ER420 for getting shit in the ground before mothers day!!!!!!, must be nice.

i've had stuff out for over a month now in a little greenhouse, just don't want to take pics of it because it sits right by the road, and i'm pretty sure the local authorities have at least a vague idea what i do, they just don't care as long as its not shoved in their faces

Same here i start all my plants inside then harden them off outside.
Its soo fucking hot and sunny here all my plants do best in the shade.I dont have much for natural shade around my house.Been thinking of making like a half hoop over my garden beds.
We recently had some bad weather and it blew down one of my pepper plants..dead

I've got peppers, jalopeno's and mini-tomatoes in the ground.

I've also got mini tomatoes, squash, peppers in my large pot collection

my peach tree has finally started to get her leaves this season too

I cut a hole on the side of a large water bottle, just under the cap. Then fill it with soil, stick a seed in it, and water it. All peppers I tried this with thrives, more so as you can move the bottle with the sun as the season progresses. The hole in the side is to pour earth and water in, the pepper grows out the top of the bottle. Paint the outside of the bottle white.

i've got mine in the ground, generally green peppers last throughout the summer here in Texas, as lon as you water. I had one plant last me 3 season, till a freeze took it this last winter.

I have some Mini Sweet peppers that I just put into pots. Also a few Jalapeno Early. Several others kinds just popping the soil the last week or so. Can't remember what all of them are. Here are some of my Mammoth Jalapeno. {the wife and I love poppers}

Had a really bad thunderstorm during the night and the plants got the crap beat out of them but they will bounce back, The bell peppers are coming along nicely tough.DSC00023.JPG DSC00024.JPG

It looks like my upper leaves have some major light stress.

It's only the upper leaves that are doing this.
Also a sneaky first ripe pepper.
