I have a plan to pay for the new light... Hoping it works out. It would mean no real out of pocket money... And I really want that light. It would make my grow so much cleaner and neater.... I have 4 smaller lights I could use to cover a 4x4 tent with a total of 698 watts of LEDs... But it would be really nice to just use 1 light...
Ok so I have 1 last change I want to make... The crystal candy is supposed to have some strawberry taste... So I think it is better suited to cross with the strawberry nuggets. However, the fastbuds green crack is supposed to have a mango flavor and is actually shorter than the smoothie and mango cream... So I want to go with smoothie, mango cream, green crack, and sour livers... But now I can't decide what to us as the pollinator... What do you think. The sour livers is the shortest followed by green crack then smoothie and mango cream...Omg yes, I'd like sour livers over both those strains. We read conflicting info on the run times of those strains they probably both take 10 weeks. Its hard to get a straight answer on run times some times

Smoothie or mango cream as pollenater, spray them all, one branch and use pollen from the best one.
Are you skeptical if the mango cream? I think we should have a few plants treated and developing a cluster of pollen sacks.
Well I have very little experience with autos, but I do a lot of research. Pretty much everyone in the cannabis community agrees that Mephisto is #1 right now in the auto scene. After that the names that you hear are Dinafem, Dutch Passions, & Fastbuds that seem to fall into the popular runners up collumn. Anyone after that is either looked at as not quite as good... Or an unknown quantity... Plus the mango cream seem to be the tallest of the strains we are running and I'd like to keep them short. I prefer under 100cm... Honestly I think between 40cm and 70cm (16-18 inches) is about perfect... And that's where most of Mephisto's strains are at...

Yeah go ahead... I am trying to bump the start of my grow to beginning of October instead of end... That way I am sure to get 2 winter grows in...
I have a bunch of ideas for the 2nd run and right now I am leaning towards strawberry nuggets as the pollenator with Crystal Candy, and possibly northern lights and diesel as the strains to cross with.
Don't mean to brag but I usually do really well with germ... I use a propagation tray with an 8-10" domb. I used a heated mat under it... And I use the burpee peet miss pucks that are meant for the tomato plants... Using this method I am well over 90% close to 100%. Out of probably 70+ seeds I had 1 not pop.... And I was pretty sure it wasn't viable before I planted it. I was small and pale... Looked very immature. Usually my baby's break the surface in 3-4 days. I don't really pay attention to direction of the seed. I just make a little hole in the peet pellet and drop it in... The cover it up with 1/8- 1/4 inch of peat but I don't pack it tight... I just tap it down a little so it's still a little loose.
I also have good luck using the large peat pellets... Planting them in the soil.... And placing a large clear cup over them...This next round of seeds all popped over night but I usually have soil that's too wild in one way or another and my seeds rot shortly after I drop them in.
I'm trying to get myself to make a plug of soil that's neutral for them to get started in but usually end up mixing my soil to much and cooking the seeds.
