Who wants to join in a grow this winter?

I just want to grow some autos and maybe try some scrog setup for photos. I prefer short autos... That way I don't need a lot of penetration. If I order from Mephisto again it will be for a bunch of 24 carrot and sour crack...
I've heard nothing but killer on the Sour Cracks. Only issue is the yeild being an oz +/- a few. Ive got 10-15 waiting to sog them in 1 gal pots of coco.

Mephisto suggests 24 in a 4x4. Can't remember the pot size... I am actually chomping at the bit to grow a full tent of blueberry autos

Blueberry genes usually are on the smaller side but quality is banging. I'd love some older DJ Short BB but heard his shit is way different now a days from his original.

i have a 10 pack of fastbuds fastberry "blueberry" strain and they are supposed to stay on the shorter side... i like the idea of short bushy plants though

I'm also interested in finding and developing short and bushy strains. I got a better yield to space ratio on my sour Mellon mass now bit the nug structure and terps maybe less apealing. First one was super lanky but made perfectly dense gold ball nugs with the best terps.

I have never tried making auto seeds before. I know they don't flower as long so I figure I will have to select a plant to spray before flower starts. My plan was to find the bushiest looking plant and spray it... Then save the seeds from the shortest bushiest finisher... Taking into consideration any super frosty standouts... Or any that just smell better... And go from there.

It's difficult because you can end up with a great looking plants that yield larf in the end and you won't really know till the plants are done or till you grow the new seeds. I would pick two plants to sts spray incase one is more resistant. You have to get your plant to produce nuts before the rest get a month into flower and it takes about a month to flip and collect pollen from females.

After a month of flower you should have a pretty good idea of what's going to be good.

I was planning on starting to spray around end of week 2- beginning of week 3...

So I have not decided what I am doing with this light yet but I have it set up with 4 bloom led bulbs and 4 veg bulbs with uv LEDs also...

I was thinking about trying either a small scrog with it or trying a few small autos under it. Just realized I need to swap a couple of the bulbs on the left... I'm not sure how great this light will be but it is a very even distribution of 168 watts of led light over a 2x2 area... Which comes out to 42 watts per sf...

From my understanding you want to spray after preflowers have shown, select your branch or branches that can be treated independently from the rest if your plant and treat the branches at the nodes where buds will be starting to develop. It takes a month for them to flip and start releasing pollen even if you start spraying before bud sites are all defined.

I've done sts twice now and I got it right the second time when I made a stronger solution. Sadly the mother that chucked larfed out in the end and screwed me. I'm giving up on many if my seed creations and working new lines and the few more promising crosses I've ended up with.

Those smoothies should flip pretty quick, maybe start them first and follow up a week or more later with the rest of the plants you plan on pollenating. I'm really looking forward to the so-mango auto hybrids.

If I get a good result and lots of seeds I'll make sure you get some sent to you off of the better looking plants. That way you can play with them yourself...

I was nervous you we were going to run a different set of plants to cross that's why I might sound oddly concerned, my heart was set on the line up I helped choose.

When is your projected start for this project?

I'm shooting for end of October... It is cool enough then I should not need an air conditioner running... I am considering pulling the crystal candy or the strawberry nuggets from the lineup though... And maybe just focusing on the mango cream, smoothie, and 1 other... What do you think?
