I have a problems with my 1st grow leafs turning brown on seedlings with no yellowing. What should I check?

Here is the link to post with details
You have over fed them. I noticed how you've conveniently omitted the brand and kind of nutrients you are using, or what 1/4 strength even is.

Just stay the course, they will pull through, add at least another week to your projected vegetative period. There's some dumbass around here that is like the "Mr. Hempy." I can't remember who because they are like an infected hemorrhoid to deal with, and I don't grow hempy, but he can probably give you better advice than I can.

Might be Homebrewer... I can't remember. It's been a long time since I've had to read things from people like that.

I have a question....If i have autoflowers in 3 gallon pots of FFOF soil that are 25 days old and look like they're doing well, do I really need nutrients or can I just let them ride out??
You can probably ride it out. A little PK boost midway through flowering would help probably, but it's not like you need it.

PK Boost? Would FF nutes like big bloom or tiger bloom do this? I can get either one at the hydro shop but probably only wanna buy one or the other.

Thank you Snow this the only place I have to ask questions. So its great to hear from somebody who knows this stuff first hand. The nutes were foxfarm growbig and GH micro nutes at one fourth the suggested strength. I freaked when I found out my tap water was 7.8 pH and quickly remedied it. Homebrew.... I will look for him. Thanks again

I was thinking more along the lines of a high PK Guano, perhaps a tea. BioCanna BioBloom, Mother Earth Bloom, or just some guano in some water to make a tea. That bottle of Tiger Bloom will last you years at the amount you need it. If you get something, stay organic (FF is not organic), and try to get 250ml bottle to save some cash.

The Grow Big at 6-4-4 and GH Micro at 5-0-0, even at 1/4 strength, the NPK ratio is really upset. I'm not sure if you should continue using those two items together. Micro and Bloom, yes, Grow Big and Cal-Mag, yes, but Grow Big and Micro... I dunno...

So, this is my first indoor attempt. Starting off on 200w Compact Fluorescent, then moving to 400 MH. Going with a soiless mix, peat moss, verm, perlite, with a dash of some organic compost. Got everything I need except nutrients. Need some help on what to buy, and where to get it ( I have no hydro stores around). Thanks

Check out the nutrient forum and take a look around at what other people are using. If you know the strain you are growing, and you find a successful grow with that strain, and your media, then you could imitate what they did.

My go to websites are
www.bghydro.com
www.plantlightinghydroponics.com
www.igrowhydro.com

Amazon will be able to set you up with just about anything.

There are a lot of nutrients to choose from and everyone is going to have a favorite. It sounds like you'd like to stick to organics so my suggestion to you is to research how to do that right in peat. A tea brewer is inexpensive to get started with (you can spend a lot for a nice one) and sourcing what you need would be possible if you could find a local plant nursery (check the yellow pages, you'd be surprised what you can find unless you live in Jumanji.

If that isn't an option you can take a look at a few systems.

General Organics
Organicare
Mother Earth by Advanced nutrients
Roots Organic
Age Old Organics
BioCanna
Earth Juice

And on and on. That's all I could think of off the top of my head which are reputable (I've seen grows with them).

I'd give Earth Juice a shot if you get into brewing teas and can't get the right poop to throw in there locally.

400W is good for 3 plants in a closet or would it be worth it to go for the bigger wattage lamp?
It always depends on the size of the plants.

I have a single 400w system in a 2x4x5 tent and wish I had two of them. The casting distance from the bulb is about 2 feet, but you have to account for the distance up it is from the center canopy to find the hypotenuse distance from bulb to canopy edge. So a single 400w lamp can gro as many plants as you can fit into a 3x3, or 2x3 space. I've done 3 plants under a 400w several times and it comes out well. I've seen a single plant grown under a 400w lamp and produce 12 to 16 ounces on the regular.

So... It's just all about how long you vegetate for and how big the space is. Don't worry about watts/plant.

hi i am using a space heater in my 8x8 room to raise the temp do you think the light from the space heater will hurt them when my 1000 watt light is off during their sleeping time?
I use a ceramic heater for just this reason, also you could use oil filled radiator.

Ok I got a very importent question ya so listen up. Ok, ok so I got this joint here see..... well anyways, anyways I just don't know what to do with it! Now That I got it what do I do next? See ya shit like this confueses me. Yesterday it was the fork. I had it, just didn't know what to do with it next so I just put it down next to my plate and walked away.

That's cool. Happens to all of us. So here's what you do:

Take the joint and snap it in half. This should let you get at the weed inside. So empty all the weed out. Stick the pieces of paper in either ear, but for God's sake don't roll them up. Now you take the weed and just rub it between your hands. Like if it were a cold day and you needed to warm them. This will mix the trichomes with the oils from your hands.

Get rid of all that nasty green and purple leafy stuff. No one smokes that anyway. With your hands empty rub them together to get the trichomes to roll up together. Make sure you do a good job, you can smoke that skin too, shit gets you high!

So you take that hash and then you use that fork. I know, right...

Lay the hand-hash out across the fork and then hold a lighter underneath it. Not so that it burns, just gets hot and bubbling. Then you rub that boiling oil tar mixture inside of your nostrils with the fork. It's okay if you start bleeding that gets the chemicals to your brain faster.

I can't believe you guys don't know this shit. Fucking google. Seriously.
