don't really think there is a way for you to tell.. you can give it a little bit more time and try to put it on a 12/12 and when you see it's sex go back to a veg cycle..
other then that just wait for the flowering..

PH & Soil - Ok here's my issue... I was getting some issues with my plants.. SO i bought some distilled water and checked the PH of the run off.. Its was a super LOW 4.8. My question is how do I fix it? I grow in soil... Also how did this happen? I water my plants ALWAYS with a PH of 6.3-6.5.... HELP PLS!!!

i think you can even lower the light a little.. 2 meters is alot.. get the light closer so when you put your hand near the plants it's still not hot..

Yes I need help I,m new to the forum and I did not know how or where to post this. I just switched to coco and I been having problems cause the coco retains the water to much. Some times 8 or 9 days go by without the posibility of giving food. Also my leaves are to yellow (just some of them) it looks to me like nutrient deficiency. Can some body drop his or her 5 cents worth of info bout this. I really will be apreciated greatly

Coco has a particular physical structure that allows for the retention of high levels of oxygen in the media.

It is safe to water coco even when it is wet. Actually, this is preferred. You do not need to treat coco like soil.

Many growers water by weight in coco. Lift the planters often. When they weigh 1/2 of what they did directly after water then you can safely water again. Most growers in coco water/feed at least every other day.

Without knowing more about your grow, like the pH, the temperature, your nutrients, the volumes used per gallon, how often they've been feed, how old they are... You know... The very basic kind of information a person would need to help you out without the courtesy of a picture... I don't think anyone is going to be of much help. It could just be so many things.

Keep your pH at 5.8 and your nutrient levels appropriate for the current stage of growth and your plant might be okay. If you'd like an answer you are going to need to include all the necessary information and ideally a picture as well before someone can tell you where you've gone wrong.

But bottom line, you can water coco when it is still wet. If the plant has a mature and fully established root system you can water as often as twice a day in this media. Allowing coco to dry out will cause precipitation of salts and can lead to build-up/toxicity or pH fluctuations.

Looking for a good ph tester and ppm tester, For just testing of nutrient water. Been looking at some on ebay but most look like there are for aquariums.

Prop them up, put your lights closer, use an oscillating fan on them. All of this is beginners 101... So educate yourself a little too.

Hi i am new. need help. have some baby's from seeds and leaves turning yellow, WHY:sad:
They are sick. Probably from the pH or the nutrients, but maybe from the heat. Thanks for all the useful information to diagnose your issue.

Water your rock wool frequently, daily at least, and pH 5.5 to 5.8 (not 6.0). Your plant is probably dehydrated. Higher humidity might help.

Just wondering: is it possible that due to enough root rot a plants roots could become infected beyond a point of no return? Mainly asking because I have been battling with root rot with h2o2/Hygrozyme in ph'd water with no nutes (flushed like that for 5 days straight), but now my fan leaves are all incredibly droopy. When the roots were badly infected, the leaves didn't look nearly as bad, but now I'm afraid that the h2o2 & Hygrozyme may have eaten away at too much of the roots since they were so badly infected...or is it a possible overwatering situation due to 5 consecutive days of flushing?

Thanks for any input :) been trying to get more help on this issue in my other post: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/387923-root-rot-during-flowering-will.html (has pics and more info on my plant)

Need help, have 4 plants that went into 12/12 1 1/2 weeks ago. "Absolutely" have to go into flower room for about 20 min. What will this do to the plants? Also, I am 100% sure 2 are females but can't tell on the other 2. Read where males usually show first so does this 100% mean others are female and have just not shown yet. They are about 4 inches shorter than other two so are not getting as close upper lighting.

If you have to go in, if you have cfl or even incandescent far away I think your OK. If you can vary so intensity is lessened is better too.

Whats best for flowering, 12-55-6 or mixing that with 25% 30-10-10 to bring down the P to 16.5-43.75-7 or basically 17-44-7 NPK rating?

I think a ratio of 1:2:3 is good for flowering. 3-4-5 might be better. Depends on the strain.

Potassium is quite important.

I'm completely new to this, and getting my first seeds later today. What is the simplest and cheapest way to grow my seeds. How long on average does it take, and what will I need to do to grow them? Thanks.
