Jiffy cubes and a propogator.
Dont pre germinate the seeds just plant them 1/4 deep into your pre soaked jiffys or simply just plant the seeds into the pot of moist soil and mist over with water untill they sprout.
Dont soak or pre germinate the seeds in towels. Just plant them

wow i thought that was the most common and or best way of germinating (paper towel method and or in a cup w water)

i guess ill try the cubes and letting them germinate while in soil as in nature.... its always good to experiment till i find out what works best thanks

could i put some feed in my containers what the pots are stood in just enough to cover the roots because i dont want the roots just hanging out of the holes to be honest..i can transplant them in the morning im just been a bit curious about the roots just coming threw the holes..if i stand the pots in my containers with some feed it should stop the rootrs drying out.will this be ok..thanks

It is the most common, not the best

the result of folks wanting to touch and feel everything and make it seem mystical

name any other plant that folks do this to before just planting seeds???

i was responding to this post as there was a question mark after jiffy seed starter? as if he was not familiar with it so was explaining the medium/soil of what the jiffy mix is

Post No #22 will show you how to use a propogator and the starting post #1 will explain why you should not use pre germination.

They will be fine till you get pots (get em soon) no need to cover the base of the pot

what makes you so shore i have spidermites?i have like 2 yellow spots in the whole plant,no spots on the other plant.no fine webs anywere or anything like that

It is those leaves that make the buds, buds do not require light nor do they collect/use light the same way as the leaves which are like little solar panels that collect and store energy, There is a ditty about shade leaves as well in my thread Where I share research that shows that shade leaves are actually more productive for the plant.

I DO NOT REMOVE ANY LEAVES

My bad, its just Semantics Bro, I do remember Photosynthesis from Little School, lol, and yes, Leaves do indeed collect Energy from the Light, im not that much of a Noob, lol.

I'd be VERY interested to read more about possible Benefits of "shade Leaves", because like I said the Sat Dom Strain im using grows VERY Robustly indeed, lol.

With my set up I'll be close to the 100w/Sqft guideline, plus I'll be using C02 during flowering... so I expect ALOT of Growth, thats why I was worried about too many Leaves.

Which Thread did you start Bro? Leave me a Link I'll check it out now, sounds Interesting!

Thanks Again.
