i dont know y the other post is not showing up but hi im new here and also a noob at gardening so i saw this post and saw that both ww and church. The two that have had problems is just weird they are 3 wks old from germinating and the ww is still in cotyledon stage w little hairs where the true leaves are, the church is just starting to grow a true leaf and it lost a cotyledon underground while sprouting, they were both started in jiffy seed starting mix then they seemed like they were just dying so transplanted them to fox farm ocean forest and then the church finally started growing a bit.
Soil ph 6.6 for both
watering with deer park natural spring ph 6.3 every 2-3 days allowing for two inches of soil to dry b4 watering and also watering around the plant as to not get the base of stem wet plenty of drainage
lighting is 4 4foot fluorescent bulbs 6500k 4 inches from tops of leaves
schedule has been from start 24/0 then now 20/4
ventilation has been a fan blowing as well as a window open from outside keeping fresh air moving through
relative humidity 40-50%
temps have been daytime 77-86 nighttime 72-77

please help!!!

pics.......................

Well it is well known that FFOF is a bit to hot for most seedlings

Your soil PH should be closer to 7 (6.6 is ok but 6.8 would be better)

watering seedlings every 2 to 3 days is just wrong, should be more like 5 to 7

and without pic's everything we say is based in generalities of what we know to be true IOW it's a big guess that does not really help you

ok..my ph in my water without nutes is 7.1.with nutes it takes it down to about 6.2....then i use a few drops off ph down to take it to 5.5/5.6...my ec is 1.2...i recently flushed my medium with 5.9 ph and the run off was 6.1 if i remember right..i dont think i have spidermite as there are no signs underneath the leafs..i dont think im confident enough to take the plant out the pots ill probly snap the roots wile taking it out lol..im just dying to no the problem..thanks

Much Obliged Riddle Me, thats what I mean Bro, doesn't hurt to have more than person give me their opinion!
It doesn't even matter if any opinions contradict, because none of you are "right" and none of you are "wrong"
There are too many variables, so its better to converse using Ball Park Figures (which btw are my favorite lol)
Ball Park figures are better than Nothing, especially for a Noob ! Ball Park Figures make the world go round !!!

To give more info, the Clone's I have waiting in the wings are from a World Reknown (lol) Sativa/Indica Strain, mainly Sativa I think, because although the growth is Dense, the Plant does stretch quite a bit too, so it definitely Grows Robustly once it gets started. People I know growing this strain right now say its "easy" to finish at 3 Ft for Harvest if you start Flowering when its 1 Ft High. They reckon 3 Months Total from Clone to Harvest.

But its cool, I get your reluctance to be drawn without exact specifics, lol, I'll stick with the Foot a Month growth estimation, most people agree with it. Its not that I don't have the space, I do, but im worried about too much growth crowding out the Bud Sights - HERES A QUESTION - If you were in that situation during flowering with around a Month approx left before Harvest, would you keep the Fan leaves or would you chop em off and get em out the way so Light can hit the Buds? Im hoping my Sativa Dom Plant doesn't grow tooooo crazy, but since I'll be using C02 and a good Nute Routine they might surprise me and explode with Growth!

Thanks for mentioning PAR WATTS too, I've read ALOT about Par watts and quite frankly it put me to sleep! I do appreciate the effort people put into perfecting Grow Light efficiency, and I'll probably purchase a Light reader so I know that every part of my Footprint is getting a decent amount of Light. That would be a good investment, but for me, anything beyond that is way too complex.

Maybe once I get a few grows under my Belt I'll start dabbling with the "Mystery Science" of the experts, lol.

Thanks Bro! Reps for You and everybody who replied thus Far !

PH sounds good, you need to find the confidence if you want to be an experienced grower, as there will be times when looking at the root ball is needed to figure things out???

Also do you have a microscope you can look at those spots with???

Hi all quick question if you guys have the time. i just harvested my first lady, main cola was 33 grams wet. what is the quickest way to dry? i have them hanging in a basement room completely dark with a dehumidifier in there which is set at 5 outta 10. i read over the harvesting forum, but couldnt find if it was good to use a dehumidifier. i live in a area where there was recently a flood so i am worried about mold since my ladies have been growing in a basement. thanks for the help!

It is those leaves that make the buds, buds do not require light nor do they collect/use light the same way as the leaves which are like little solar panels that collect and store energy, There is a ditty about shade leaves as well in my thread Where I share research that shows that shade leaves are actually more productive for the plant.

I DO NOT REMOVE ANY LEAVES

Ok to use a dehumidifier if you have high humidity, best to keep it in the low 30's just don't have it blowing on the plants,,and,

I don't do quick drying, I am to picky about the final product to not be patient

Gently grab the plat at the base of the stem where it meets the soil and Carefully/Gently pull to see if it is loose in the pot and I mean slowly gently, if not run a knife around the edge of the pot that goes at least 5 to 6 inches in (do this gently as well) then pick the plant up one hand on the base of the stem, one hand under the pot and pull the pot off inspect the root ball/take a pic and put it back

and to be clear I define gently as the pressure it would take to pick up a piece of thread off a glass table without leaving a smudge
