who has the best chocolate strain?

title is self explanatory, looked into dna and doggies nuts so i figure id hit up the experts around here. im craving something different than all the fruity buds i have surrounded myself with

DNA Chocolope.
DJ Short Cocoa Kush.

or mix them and get Eskobar's Chocolate Rain.

Second that, Chocolate Rain from Sannies seeds.. Here the description:

A intense chocolate F1 cross from Dna Chocolope and Cocoa Kush from Dj short,the combination of two of my favorite smokes.
The selected Chocolope is a sweet bitter chocolate thai sativa with little stretch. Very easy to grow and heavy yield in 9 to 10 weeks.
This lady won multiple cups and awards with her 100% chocolate taste.
The Cocoa Kush from Dj Shorts is a structurally Kush hybrid between a female Blueberry Sativa crossed with a the original Blueberry male.
Cocoa Kush has a very complex and hard to describe taste, a bar of dark bitter chocolate with some sour cream could fit the taste.
The most darkest and exciting aroma i have ever met.

DNA Chocolope... PURE GREATNESS!

just ordered chocolope myself recently as all 3 DNA strains i've tried so far have top to bottom attention to detail and quality making them my favorite breeders, so far though TGA subcool's jack's cleaner 2 is my current favorite strain, and it just sounds better. i'm not a fan of either the buzz or flavor of blueberry, so DJ shorts' version doesn't sound as interesting or sannies' cross of the two for the same reason. i WISH i ordered some real chocolate thai back when it was still available from emerald triangle, i think.

i will be surprised if DNA's version isn't at least very good and distinctive in the flavor department if not having the trippy high i'd prefer from pure choco thai. i would have done this month's newsletter if only chocolope was included.

I have grown the sativa pheno. It was a nice old school type mello buzz. Had a creamy taste to it. I enjoyed it quite abit.
I didn't document it though. It was one finicky girl, I had yellowing and curling leaves all over it. I was too embarrassed to photo it.

I've grown a clone of chocolope, I liked it but would love to sort through more myself. As for chocolate flavors or smells, there was a little but not to much. I grew out 20 Chocolate Rain and a few had some ok chocolate smells but I did not feel they were the keepers, there were some really nice fruity scents but those were not at all chocolate. I also grew out some Bubba x Deep Chunk from Cannacopia (tons of hermies) and a few of these had super strong unsweetened chocolate scents. Did not transfer well to flavor. Currently I have been enjoying some Bubba OG (dr greenthumb) a cut I got from Gladstoned. I has a slight chocolate scent to it and a little bit of the cocoa makes it into the flavor. Probably not the most chocolate but my favorite so far.

I grew a very sativa leaning chocolate thai pheno of Chocolope. Super dank, not too long of a flowering time, but very finicky to nute burn, and hard to keep happy. Never hermed on me, but leaf clawing galore. My pheno smelled very strongly like powdered cocoa, and had a distinct chocolate exhale. Great plant, and e$co's chocolate rain should be awesome as well.

Ive grown Chocolate Rain. Tasty fruity dank but no chocolate taste in my pheno. Good but not a keeper. I have Chocolope waiting in the wings.

I was also wondering the same thing. Going to start a sog grow of it soon under 600w.

chocolope chocolope chocolope. Get at least 5 beans, and you'll be happy with at least 3 of the phenos. So good, mmmmm It's way over keeper area of my garden

My chocolope smells and looks amazing at 7 weeks. Kicking my ass I didnt keep a cut. Cant believe this is almost a pure sativa. Could be done in 8-9 weeks...I mean a breeders description thats actually accurate?
