Mr negative is In the houseNoobs
After I've wet trimmed and dried I might have to have a quick dry trim over a few buds but most will be fine as is.I start out wet trimming but no way we can get it all done im a couple days,so the rest of it get trimmed dry. Everyone swears wet trimming ruins your bud, but I'd bet they couldn't tell a difference.
OP asked a question and I gave the correct answer.Mr negative is In the house
Hey if you are happy than that's all that matters. I would say if you are not finding any clear trichomes than you are not looking hard enough as there are always clear trichs since the plant keeps producing new ones. Hey, it's not important. There is no set perfect ripeness for everyone, it's a to each their own thing. Nice looking buds man.I chopped off a small bud about 4 days ago quick dried in boiler cupboard for 3 days to test it, couldn't smoke the whole joint is was strong lol. I checked plant today not a single clear trichome so I chopped the main cola only. I'll leave the rest for a few more days as the top cola is always slightly ahead of the rest.
Well I'm not a noob and I wet trim, I'm sure most that commented saying they wet trim are not noobs either. Try it you might surprise yourselfOP asked a question and I gave the correct answer.
Typically, noobs wet trim. Fact.
Didnt mean to offend you there brah
Most people saying they wet trim do it because ‘its easier’.Well I'm not a noob and I wet trim, I'm sure most that commented saying they wet trim are not noobs either. Try it you might surprise yourself
The only clear ones I could see was underneath the leaves the rest where milky cloudy small percentage amber. Obviously I didn't look at every single trichome haha but I spent a good 10 mins with loupe thinking should I shouldn't I. I went with should lol the rest will go longerHey if you are happy than that's all that matters. So what about wet trimming do you feel is wrong or worse? Most people saying they wet trim do it because ‘its easier’.
Doesnt mean its right.
I am a believer in ‘do what works for you’.
But dont say its better or Ill call you on it.

You said "don't say it's better or ill call you on it". You also said most do it because it's easier and that doesn't make it right. Seems like you are implying it's not right and worse but perhaps I misunderstood. So did I misunderstand, are you saying it's equal? Just looking for your reasoning is all?Show me where I said it was better?
I think craigson is just one of those people that thinks his way is the right way and won't accept the possibility there's another way that's neither right or wrong just differentYou said "don't say it's better or ill call you on it". Another infinite debate. Both work. Definitely try both. See what you prefer. Only means to your answer.Im no less confused on what to do than I was an hour ago when I posted... lol. Maybe ill try doing half and half to see
What difference do you notice between wet and dry trimming? I've done both I just find wet easier and less time consuming plus it contributes to slightly quicker drying so I can get it jarred slightly sooner. You can always have a little dry trim after wet trimming if you want to polish up a few budsI haven't wet trimmed in a long time. I cut the fan leaves off, cut her off at the base and hang the plant whole. About 14 days later I break it down into manageable buds and it goes into totes. Gets rotated and checked daily for about 7 more days. Then I do a final trim and into the jars they go. If I had a huge grow I may feel differently, but I really don't like the results I get from wet trimming.
