White widow what the heck!!

High All, hope everyones well! growing some ww and she's 73 days into flowering today and bursting with trichs I've kept my temp around 73-76 degrees during lighting and no less then 59 during sleep, the problem is that the trichs are all mostly cloudy! very little amber!! so she's obviously not done? or is she??


A friend told me he's gone 85 days on ww and the trichs never really amberd up, said the trichs looked about the same at 85 days as they did at 70 there was a little more amber but not much! said it looked about like what my looks now, and that he wasn't able to get the heat up in his space to where mine is and that may have affected his grows trichs and time length?

But when he harvested the plant it was "KILLER" smoke! TOP SHELF good! but it never did amber up the way he was expecting.

So am I waiting for something thats not going to happen anyway? do some strains not turn amber as much as others? I'm still very new to this!!!! thanks

I don't wait for amber anyway. I like clear to cloudy. I plan on harvesting my ww at 73 days or so. got any pics i would love to see it.

I was hoping to get mine as frosty as possible. have you thought about letting the lights stay off for 2-3 days before you harvest? i haven't done it but i hear ww loves it and just turns pure white. i would like to try it this time but i have other strains in there as well that willl not be done at the same time.

Hey man, my humidity during most of the grow was around the high 20's to low 40's, usually spiking around the latter! b

But in the last 2 weeks its been spiking in the high 40's to mid 50's!! (the spikes happen when the lights are off) there's 2 plants at the same age in my tent and I'm thinking maybe they "breath" more when they get older? don't know! but lately the humidity has been higher!

Unfortunately I have no way of controlling the humidity minus my 6" can-fan combo running through the tent, it helps a lot but it's not perfect.

have you thought about cutting the lights out the last few days to frost em up?

i was curious about the humidity because mine is always around 60%. i have a dehumidifier but i have 3 hydro reservoirs in the room too and its hard to keep it down. i was hoping to get another and get it down around 45%. I think that is plenty low. i think yours has been plenty low, even too low at times.

I have 2 plants (at the same age) in my tent, will the lights out thing work on my blackberry kush too? or is it just a widow thing? and why would it help anyways?? thanks.
