I think its more like yellow blotches instead of white spots. NO bugs in the closet. and I don't think its mold cause its not powdery or white. please let me know what you think.

Well, I've never seen it before. On here, and in real life. I haven't been doing anything different. the plant is like 2-3 weeks into flowering.

yeah. the closet is in a room in the 2nd story of my house and they don't go outside. So idk how bugs could possibly get to them. and the spots/blotches were on that one branch only. The rest of the plant is fine. but here is my set up.

Hard to tell from the pics. Could be a fungis of some form. Tell us a bit more about your setup. Air coming in, going out, pH of the feed, heat and humidity, yunno, all the details.

If you walk from outside to your grow inside without taking off your shoes, you can bring mites and other baddies in that way.

I have 3 fans in there. I don't use a ph meter. I know everybody should use them. But i've been doing great this whole time and its my first grow. This is the first big problem i've had, the temp is probably about 75-80 F during the day and 60-70 F at night. I use miracle grow bloom booster as the fert, it also has been working great. and miracle grow moisture control soil, which has also been working great. only thing I could think of is it being some kind of fungus. I open up the windows in the room to let in fresh air and I open up the closet so they can get fresh air too. But luckily it was only on that branch, and the weird part, that branch got that bad quickly but hasn't got worse or better or infected the rest of the plant.

Yea like he said, if you have pets, you'll get mites. If you go outside, you'll get mites. If you touch nature, you'll get mites. You can't stop pests, but i'm not sure thats the problem..

I also live in california, mites are everywhere here man.. i'm currently battling them myself due to a clinic selling me shitty clones, but I caught it early.

True, but I don't really see how I could bring bugs in, I don't really go anywhere. I'm either at a house, in a store, or driving. idk when I could have exposed myself to bugs.

I have one cat and its an inside cat, and it doesn't go in the room. But I don't think its bugs. I don't see bugs. I looked at the rest of the plant. inspected that whole infected branch that I cut off. I think its some kind of fungus that started to form but stopped growing on the plant but caused permanent damage? thats the only explanation I could think of.

Bugs will find their way in without much assistance. A grow room is nirvana for bugs. Fungi on the other hand love humidity. Without a constant extraction and exchange of air the humidity will rise and fungi which is in all air, will spread over plants like wildfire.
