also the buds will not be "ripe" in 60 days, nice setup thought, and infer is right you should paint the buckets or something. you don't want algae robbing your nutes

Man I can't wait to see these babies grow. I'm really tryin to grow some known herbs. As they always grow better and faster then just reg bagseed. I'm getting impatient Dac! Sing to them or toke one for'em! hahaha

BIKE, Ya I know they wont be fully ripe in 60 days, Im ok with it. This is all just experimenting. Nothing serious. Ill probly do a serious grow next, maybe try the SCROG with some WR and veg for 2 weeks then flower for 3 months : ) should be fun. But this is the project im on now. Trying to set a tecnique for impatient growers : )
Also the buckets are a thick white, hardly any light should get in,think I should paint them? im not very handy though : /

im here for the long Haul

Roger that! I just checked the seeds. I have 3 out of 4 popped. I have my rockwool soaking for 30 mins (it says just dip them but Ima soak for 30)

And Ill put them under 24/0 light until they have all sprouted.

The one seed that hasint popped I put in pH balenced water in a glass. Ill leave it in there for about 15 mins then go ahead and plant in the RW. It should be fine : )

I have soaked the RW in pH balenced water for 30ish mins. I have 3 out of 4 comfirmed popped seeds. The other looks like its about to.

I planted the seeds about 1/4 of an inch into the RW.
I constructed a drip pan for the RW cubes.

I just got a Gallon ziplock bag and cut the sides. then wrapped around the top of a tubberware container(from a lack of plastic wrap,lol) and taped it. I poked holes in the top for drainage with a nail.

The light will stay on 24/0 until all seeds have sprouted up. Also I cut 4 air holes in the top of the germ box( in theory the hott air moving up will just flow out of the box) (will think of somthing better later,ha)


Yes It looks ghetto and it is, But it will work,lol!

Oh also Just to let yall know I decided to not paint the buckets, They are pretty thick white plastic. So no light should get in. I think itll be alright : )

Paint your buckets bro, trust me you will regret it like I did. If you hold your bucket up to a light and can see a glow, then its not light proof.

im not handy at all...what do I paint with?


What color? will black cause to much heat in the box?
