why the need to announce a king? in all honesty, most rappers are self-proclaimed kings & "the best rapper alive" anyways...why as consumers do you have to feed into their bullshit...
if you must...here's your list from best to worst...
- Jay-Z - unquestionable...until he stops breathing, retired or not, he's the true best rapper alive
- Jadakiss - you know youre gonna get vicious street talk and crazy punchlines when you toss on a Kiss track. Easily the most consistent on this list besides Jay. Only thing holding him back is his lack of success when putting out CLASSIC CDs.
- NaS - one of the greatest LYRICISTS of all time...you could always count on at least 2 dope tracks on a NaS disk, but he's tossed up too many bricks over the coarse of his career.
in all honesty, those three above are the only ones you could even consider...Styles & Sheek are always second fiddle to Kiss...Juelz isnt even in the top 3 in the DipSet...Cory Gunz should have never been listed...Fab & Fat Joe have a banger every year but thats not enough to be "king" (Joe scores major points for actually being involved in HIP HOP though...look up TATS CRU if you dont know what im talking about)
