Which light should I use for vegging in a skinny area

your right i confused it with the 4ft output. 3ft makes it a bit harder to find. They use a bit more power but let the plant grow right up to it without bleaching or burning the leafs. I have a few hlg 135s that are white light, they bleach out and stress my plants any closer than 14in

How much money are you looking to spend? I would get the largest light you can get to fit in there for the money. A 2ft might work good if you get LED strip bulbs for them. Its all up to you, there is endless possibilities. It doesn't take a lot to veg plants.

Let me rephrase that. It doesn't take a lot of light to veg plants but don't buy a 5$ bulb and think your going to be good.
 
u can use a 2 foot 2 bulb and a 1 foot 2 bulb.

but the 2 foot 2 bulb is probably plenty. depends how big you're trying to veg em.
