Which grow light(LED, HPS ect) should I go with?

You'll be glad you went with the bigger tent no doubt. As for Nutes, they are all pretty much the same thing. Go for something simple. A veg nute and a flower nute.

looking for a new led light, I have my eyes on the mars hydro reflector 144. Anyone have any experience with those? I'll be putting that in a 4x2 tent with 3 plants

sounds like you've got it figured out there is another option & that's a 315 cmh it would rock a 3x3 tent

Yeah that was my other option. Just gunna be a micro grow in a 2.5x2.5 with a 5 cob Vero 18 upgradeable to 10 in the future or maybe I'll DIY some cobs at that point. Where I live the hydro rates are brutal so leaning more on the energy efficiency side of things. Few ounces yield I'll be a happy and my set up has paid for itself basically.

DIY and get COBS. DIY all the way for cheaper costs.
