Where to move in Cali, any suggestions?

funny that people (idiots) think the LA metropolis extends nearly 80 miles from LA downtown & clear into another county. LA & it's "metropolis" ends at the county lines of Los Angeles County. All of inland southern California is NOT Los Angeles nor it's metropolis...

Very very wrong. The Los Angeles Metropolis area includes LA county, Ventura County, Orange county, and san bernandino county.

You know, this "I'm a native" bullshit is getting old. You act like it's carte blanche to spout some pretty bigoted and racist opinions. In truth you probably lost your native blood the first time you cut yourself shaving. Your peoples? Really?
hypocrisy at its finest. a homosexual mormon.

I don't think religion constitutes sexuality either you are or your not, it's not a choice, unless you're a girl, LOL. Stay high.

Sorry, but that ideology only applies to moron residents of Los Angeles. Those of us that actually LIVE in these other counties do not agree with your statement, even Riverside County. Hell my neighbors would shoot you just for hearing you say something like that. So please stop acting like a pretentious ass; you are making yourself sound like an ignorant out of state transplant to LA that has no concept that So Cal is several differant city metropolis' overlapping one another...no soul with a smidgen of a brain cell actually thinks SB County is part of LA's metropolis. Stating such an incorrect ideology like yours accrues to more stupidity than thinking all of the state of New York is Manhatten and all of Florida is Miami. The IE is a cultural & economic embarassment to the LA, Orange & Ventura counties, don't pretend we aren't considered the armpit & are excluded from being considered even as remotely "cool" as LA.

Dude are u kidding me? The Greater Los Angeles area contains all of those littler metro areas. A similar thing would be like Chicago and New York. All of them have smaller cities within their metropolis area.

And it's contained by mountains. Calling the Antelope Valley a part of greater LA is about as sensible as calling Turlock a part of the Bay Area. Jmo. cn

Dude, Naperville is considered a part of the Greater Chicago Area. Im talking about areas and metropolis's. Im not saying that suburbs are a part of the actual city.

The Antelope Valley is considered part of the Greater LA area.

The Greater Los Angeles Area or the Southland is a term used for the Combined Statistical Area (a group of interacting metropolitan areas) sprawling over five counties in the southern part of California, namely Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties. It has been one of the fastest growing regions in the United States for decades, first in Los Angeles County, then in Orange County, and currently in the Inland Empire area. As of 2005, the official estimate of the population of the Los Angeles metropolitan area is more than 12.9 million, while in 2009 the larger five-county region had a population of over 17.6 million. Either definition makes it the second-largest core-based statistical area in the country, behind the New York metropolitan area.[SUP][1][/SUP]
The agglomeration of the urbanized Greater Los Angeles area surrounds the urban core of the county of Los Angeles, California. The urban term[SUP][clarification needed][/SUP] is defined to refer to the more-or-less continuously urbanized area stretching from Ventura to the southern border of Orange County, and from the Pacific Ocean to the Inland Empire. The Greater Los Angeles area is generally taken to include the Los Angeles metropolitan area, the Inland Empire, and Ventura County - all part of the Census Bureau defined Combined Statistical Area. The term "Greater Los Angeles" does not include San Diego and Imperial counties, whose urbanized areas are not geographically continuous with the urbanized area surrounding Los Angeles. Rather, San Diego is part of the San Diego–Tijuana urban area.
