when to remove humidity dome i i dont want them to stretch

hey i started a few seeds under fluorescents i dont want them to stretch i wanna get the light as close as posssible when can i remove the humidity dome.

well, a humidity dome can be useful for germinating in soil, but once the seed shell has been shed, you should remove it and let the leaves breath the co2.

thanks..yeah im gonna use a dome (cling wrap) when my seeds are germing in the soil from now on, and then as soon as they break earth, ill remove it.

Yep, they need to be removed as soon as the seedling breaks soil.

If you don't have domes, I just use a zip lock bag over my cup and make a dome out of it.

I have never use a dome for seedlings, and I have never had a seedling die, now im NOT saying dont use one, just that I dont use em.

Clones, now thats a different story, a dome is a must.
