when to flower

I have two plants under a 100 watt hps they have been growing for six weeks now when should i start to flower them.

any time you want to, just remember that the plants will double or triple in size after you start flowering

depends on a lot of things...like how much room you have or what your goals are for yield, some people go 12/12 from seed other people veg for 3 months, i personally veg for about 6 to 8 weeks,

you might want to upgrade from that 100w for flowering.

more light=more bud.

i usually veg for a full month, maybe a little longer if your
shooting high for your yield.

12-18 inches is usually a good rule of thumb to induce flowering.
it depends alot on your strain.

i.e. sour diesel, if you veg sd to 18 inches then start flowering,
your gonna have a mini tree in your closet.

indica dominants you generally want to veg a little longer then sativas because
they stay short and stout, sativa dominants you want to veg a shorter time.

im really in no rush but this light is as big as i can go in this room i also have the strongest flo you can get from home depot on the side
