When is the best time to take Cutts?

My Plant is now 38 Day's old I belive i let her Grow for 1-2 more weeks but I am not an Expert for taking Cutts I didn't know which parts are good for take Cutts maybe the smaller one inside the Plant i don't want to take the big parts because they producing good Buds.

You can take them from anywhere, tops or lowers. Just make sure it has a couple nodes on it and I would say at least 4 inches long.

The lowers are supposed to be easier to clone. But I've used the tops too.

My best advice is to make sure it's healthy when you take the cuttings.

I have quit taking the tiny lower branches on Seedlings mainly, I've found they grow small even when they have established after being cloned. You want to take healthy branches ideally when the plant is healthy and vibrant. I usually go up a couple node sets for my clones but as others said take the whole branch then cut it down to size of your liking.

Always have a cup of plain water in a secure spot when cutting clones and once you cut them drop them into the water until your ready to touch them up and root gel them.

If I m on a feed then only water schedule I like to take cuts before I feed again
Lower nitrogen levels seem to make the cuttings search for food faster

If that isn't a fact lol I think of it as if the branch is showing attributes I don't wanna see like skinny spindly growth or wide offset internodal spacing I don't want to clone it so I have a skinny spindly plant. Taking a bad cutting off a plant could mean a loss of good genetics, not scared to admit I've done that..

If you have plans on topping your plant... let it get to at least 6-7 nodes.. then top a big enough size (3-4 nodes) from the tops & use those. Currently doing the same with cement shoes. I took all the tops off since it was getting too tall.. it relieved her of the light stress and there’s tons of lowers coming in that would also make some nice clones once I prune next month.

Assuming there's at least a node tucked underneath, I would say it's a perfect cut.

Oh, don't forget to keep whatever substrate that is decently moist.

Yes, there is a node i remove small leafs and put it in the Plug!

I take small cuts from down low. It's easy enough to get a clone to beast out once it roots.
