What's wrong with these seedlings?

These bag seeds were started 2 weeks ago. Stupidly planted them all in one long container, when they started sprouting it was realized they needed to be put into solo cups. The transition was kind of clumsy and some of the bigger leaves started drooping. It's been one week since they were transplanted into solo cups and while some plants seem to be strong and healthy, there is some dark purple and yellow discoloration that is concerning. Is this most likely nutrient deficiency, due to the roots being damaged during transplant? but is it also possible that they need more nutes since their soil is old re-used MG mixed with some cheap Earthgro walmart dirt? Recently even the ones that seemed very healthy after the transplant, are starting to show slight yellowing on the tips. Watered with plain water that has sat out for 24 hours every 1-2 days when the soil feel bone dry an inch down. Could it be too much light at this stage? There are 2x 42 watt 2700k CFL, and 4x 23 watt 6500k CFL's all under a turkey roasting pan. The temps stay between 70-80F and there is a small fan blowing on high in the closet, but not directly on the plants. If the fan is turned off temps start getting higher so it stays on high but its not directed at the plants so there is very little plant movement. Please help!20160211_122543.jpg 20160213_131418.jpg 20160213_131430.jpg 20160213_134218.jpg 20160213_134226.jpg 20160213_134232.jpg 20160213_134251.jpg 20160213_134315.jpg 20160213_134535.jpg

Sounds to me like you are over watering them and your soil is too hot for seedlings
(Hot) meaning that the mg and wall Mart knock off mg already has nutrients in it, at this stage your plants don't really need those yet. If you look close at your plants you will see those little rounded first leaves(cotyledons) , those are like the embryo of the plant and provide most of what she needs in early growth.

Also make sure you have plenty of drainage in your cups, you want to allow water to runoff out of the bottoms and allow air to get to your root system as well, the roots like oxygen, the leaves like co2

The miracle grow used was 2 year old miracle grow that has already had plants in it, so I assumed that most nutrients would have been depleted. And the Earthgro from Walmart didn't list any nutrients on the back but who knows!

yeah they look like someone took some old bag seeds and some 2 year old dirt and some cfl`s and thought fuck it, lol

I`m sure the ones that grow up to be female will get some nice big pots of premo dirt and some nice lights and air and love...... to the rest death ! good luck 420 !

There is good drainage on the cups but they are sitting on a towel instead of in some type of pan.. that shouldn't make a difference right? These solo cups seem to dry out fast. A couple roots are starting to come out of the drainage holes on the two biggest

To me, they look very deficient in lots of things. I don't think that soil that they're in has much nutritional value at this point. It's just my opinion. The transplant was probably ruff on them also. Good luck, don't stress

It's been said. Your soil is has too many nutrients in it your plants don't need yet.

I would recommend going to a local hydroponics store and picking up a bag of coco coir and perlite. Provides hydro results with a soil like experience.

You damaged the roots, you over watered them which damaged the root system even further, you messed around with nutrients and such even though the plants look like they're two days old.. Just.. so many things you did wrong. Start over and this time just stay away from the plants and let them do their thing.

Yeah, leave them alone and don't sweat it. You didn't spend any cash on the beans so use this as a learning experience. I never use nothing on babies until the stem starts to fatten up. It's usually 2-3 weeks then I start with very light N and a bit of Cal-mag @ 1/4 to1/3 recommended dose. A couple of the babies look okay to me. Let them go dry or until the container feels very light, then water from the bottom holes until stems start to enlarge. Good luck.

I agree with Jimmy. They look hungry. That certainly is not burn from too hot of soil. Next time they need water I would give them a light feeding.

I just trashed the whole thing and bought a fat sack of buds I don't think growing is for me. They were getting way worse every day
