its a halogen light.

i DO know that its not smart to have 2 plants in one pot, but its all i had at the moment.

well, have really, theyre still both in the same pot.

i think i may be overwatering them, i dunno.

get rid of the halogen and get some cfl bulbs.. there cheap and the daylight ones are good for seedling and veg... there cool to so you can put them a lot closer... Not sure about your water but I think you can probably not water to much right now.... some one will adress that .. check my journal on like page 3 i think and there is a lot of good info on the cfl...

ok.. first off Halogen is NO GOOD for your plants PERIOD! Go to Home Depot and get 3 100 Watt CFLs... (three will be sufficient for 2 seedlings)

Transplant those plants.... get them deeper.. dirt all the way up to first set of leaves

Place CFLs no more then 2" from tops of plants

Halogen don't work...1st you've got to get them into their own pots..Then plant deeper up to just below leaves....Get a couple of 26w cfl's 2 for $12.00..and put about 1/2" from leaf. You should have asked a few days earlier, they are going to be a bit of a hassle, but you'll learn some stuff......As for pots, I always keep large margarine containers, pudding cups (for seedlings) any container I see I keep for my garden....always a good habit, unless you want to buy new.......
Good Luck

Uhhh no it's not working fine.... your pictures are proof positive of that. If you can't afford $15 for some CFLs then what are you going to do when it's time to start feeding them?

LOL dont ask for suggestions if you dont plan on doing anything. your plants will probably get too stretched out and flop over unless you dont get some actual light. then they will probably die from self pity.

That's because it's about Lumens and Light Spectrum.... geez .... did you read ANYTHING before you started?

Here's a link GROWFAQ..... do yourself a favor.... take 2 hours to sit down and read it through. There's a wealth of easy to understand information there to help you understand the proper way to grow. It's all broken down by category to make it even easier on you.

If you don't read it and educate yourself.... then you are going to continually have plants die on you because you don't understand diddly about the proper processes to growing marijuana.

Good luck!
:peace:

so while moving one the plants to a bucket of potting soil, i ripped the root.
would a stimulator help at all or is it dead now?

also, i added a regular lamp to the plants light sources, so ive got halogen and flourecent an inch from the plants.
