What's this?

Anyone know what might be causing this? It's cheese, 1/2 weeks old from seed and has been like it since it sprouted. I've got 3 more but none of them are doing this.

My cheese started to look like that before i noticed a mg deficency a few days later when rusty spots started appearing on the leaves.

Fixing it with epsom salt.

I agree, Magneseum deficientcy for sure. I had the same problem and solved it by increasing my nute strength to 550 ppm at that stage of growth.

Nice one!!! I think that's probably it. + rep to you. There's no brown spots on this one but one of the others has brown spots on a few leaves.
What's epsom salt? would it be ok to just start feeding it nutes with mg?

Ive seen many strains of seedlings do this at the beginning stages of life, nothing to worry about.

IMHO, Dont start throwing epsom salt in that soil, your just asking for problems.

Get a good reputable fert. like Fox Farms and follow their feeding schedule.. Then you'll be OK.

Dont believe me, add the salt and see what happens.

Epsom salt is magnesium sulphate, you can get it in any pharmacist and its very cheap.
Just add a tablespoon per gallon of water, with you nutes and keep doing it until the leaves are back to normal.
Dont over do it when you think its close to be sorted or you can lock up other nutrients i.e calcium

Just opening up a new can of worms...

So I gave it some nutrients and micro nutrients and this is what happened. (Only a few drops, not too much.)
I had been training it to grow in a circle around the pot, but now it's started growing away from the light. I'm going to grow it out just to see what kind of retarded shape it grows into.
Last picture is the others growing around the pots and towards the light, as they should. Can't really see the special one as it's trying to hide from the light.
Anyone else got any ideas what's wrong with it?

looks over waterd to me.
Over Watering:
The plants in figure 5 were on a continous drip system, where nutrient solution is constantly being pumped into the medium. This tends to keep the entire root system completely saturated. A better way would be to periodically feed the plants, say for 1/2 hour every 2-3 hours. This would give the roots a chance to get needed air to them, and prevent root rot and other problems.
Don't be throw off by the fact that the plants in figure 5 are sitting in still water, this is actually an H2O2 solution used to try and correct the problem. Adding an airstone to the tub would also help add O2 to the solution.

I don't think that can be it. They've only been watered twice in 2 weeks and I leave it until it's completely dry a few inches down.
I've overwatered previous crops, but i've never seen them twist like this or start growing away from the light.

roots are at the bottom of the pot. if you don't have a moisture meter that reaches further that a coupleof inches down theres a chance of over watering, unless youare also picking up the pot to see how heavy it is. that works also. i do both methodsbut picking up the pots most of the time.

It's supposed to be the third node, but instead, it's grown one giant leaf and the next set of branches seem to be growing from inside the leaf.

Thats some trippy shit dude. I grew about 50 bagseeds that were about 2 years old. I found quite a few plants doing freaky shit like that. I guess its something to do with either missing or added links in its DNA. I killed all of mine but you should keep it for the hell of it as it would be fun to watch it flower. My Indica has slightly mutant features but grows killer weed all the same.
