i dont use whey since its milk.That's pretty impressive Sunni, you'll drop any post baby weight in no time too. Apparently a big deal to a lot of folks, id not know myself naturally haha.
How are you doing the extra protein? Whey shakes etc energy bars?
i dont buy processed energy bars
i actually dont buy a lot of processed foods at all, i prefer to make my own or avoid at all cost.
i do however make a medjool date , chia seed and hemp heart "granola" bar
i get my protein from lentils, quinoa, hemp hearts, chia seeds, beans , peanut butter, almond butter, organic tofu, tempeh, protein all natural bread, hummus,
so several of these are in all my meals usually, and it adds up on a daily basis to be about 75-90 grams of protein per day just depends on how much of what i have , or how hungry i am.
the hemp hearts and chia seeds are easy to incorporate in salads, breakfast, homemade energy bites, etc.
i typically have almond butter and all natural peanut butter with apples
its not hard to get the extra protein because im eating an extra 500 calories per day. so it kinda like evens it out so to speak because those extra calories are the extra proteins lol
i have only gained 14 lbs the entire pregnancy, my jeans pre pregnancy actually still fit except i cant button them (belly too big LOL obviously) , so i think the baby weight will be dropped off pretty easy im pretty much ALL belly. and the rest has stayed the same.
I have been doing light yoga, walks and work outs and some light weight lifting (10 lbs total)
