What yield do you pull from a 4x4 ?????

That's seriously light for the real estate and utilities. Dedication to basics.
First indoor grow using a little over 5oo watts with a mixed spectrum of light, 3 different strains not scrog trained, trying to stay organic. I"m a grower who gives most of what I grow away to people who can't afford to buy even cheap store weed. I knew my odds weren't great of hitting a grand slam my first time up to the plate so i'm pretty stoked on getting my ladies as close as I am to the finish line.

I'm a fringe old school "semi-organic" guy. Hit me up on my journal and I'll give all I know. Keep growing.

so the most I have done in my 3.5x3.5 is 18 oz I use a 1200watt LEC and I have more of a question than a comment does anyone else use LEC?
I have 2 tents I run LEC in one and LEC and LED in the other so far I am happier with the performance of the LEC solo. any thoughts?

As a led newbie I just got 1.2-1.5 on some 4x4s at 450-500watts(some tables had larger plants). Was shooting for a pound and got a surprise. Next go around I’m lowering the wattage to 400 for all tables no more big mother’s to flower out

What sort of LED is a true 1000W draw and will fit in a 4 x 4?
Here's one:

At 42.5" × 42.5" × 1.375" it will fit. Obviously it would need to be dimmed substantially.

A true led that draws a 1000 watts from the wall would be way way to much for a 4x4. Freaking bleach the hell out of everything under it unless it's been dimmed down. Am I wrong?
The (older now) Black Dog LED appears to be 1000W draw, but a bit less efficient than other lights have become now. Bleaching was demonstrated in the video (from post #125 - this thread).

I'm new to led stuff but aren't black dogs simply souped up out of date purples with lots of fans? I feel the newer spectrums and even older non purple spectrum lights work as well if not better and aren't nearly as hard to work under when diagnosing problems.

And coverage is higher while running less wattage. Saving a grower more money.

Hello all !
Me and a friend are looking at different t options for tents and thinking of useing 4x4 tents in different rooms. Be that as it may .... could people share what they have gotten for yields from 4x4 ? Please include what type of light, how many plants, and growing medium please !!! Thank you !

ps
If you’ve only grown in a 3x3 or 5x5, those outcomes are welcome also !!! Thanks a bunch

grateful 3000
In a 7x4 I've pulled x4.
A 4x3 - 4x4 is usually only on plant for me so that's a limiting factor that you may not have to deal with. I'm Not in a tent either. Which could limit or help depending.
So x3-4, led bars, totaling 3-400w over each plant i get about 1.25-1.75# a plant.
That's in Pro-Mix +25% more perlite, 1/8,EWC, with inexpensive Jacks powdered notes, DTW. 7 Gall. Fabric potts. Tiny bit of organics to spice it up. Nothing much. Irrigation feed.

imo id rather run more space than use co2 you can go thru co2 so fucking fast its crazy
Not with a good automated photocell regulator with a wide deadband and good co2 Gen i go through 55 60 lbs of propane a cycle cost about 50 bucks a month in propane to run between 1200 and 1800 ppm at all times considering the extra 20 or so percent in yield increase it deff pays for itself and the buds are so much harder not much bigger but deff structured better.

1lb-1.5 is pretty good in a 4x4 but now if u can pull 5 from a 4x8 god fucking damn your doing something right
Most ive hit is between 50 and 60 zips in a 4 by 8 with 2 roi 720s and co2 1200 to 1800 ppm 6 5 gallon buckets of coco pearlite with heavy 16s full line enzymes and bennies 5 is possible in a 5 by 10 with 8 monsters but everything would have to be perfect with good genetics and zero fuck ups

I have the scale set to ounces for the weigh in pics in my grow thread.

Yes. The Seven Sisters run.

And my current run is doing amazing.
How high did you have your 630 from the canopy during flower ive been using a nanolux 630 over a 4 by 4 for over a year along side the rest of my op and i still cant decide on a solid exact distance from canopy. I adjust it constantly because i always burn em or they get to airy from being to far away

I just got 30 zips with a 600 redwood vs (600watts) in a 4x4 but average is around 25 zips. 2.5 to 3 weeks veg and no co2. Just lollitopping and lazy man scrogging. I find it hard to believe that people can pull much more than that to be honest just because there isn't enough real estate in the tent. Not like I could even try to veg for 2 months in it, would run out of room real quick. I'm guessing my upper limit with 4 plants would be around 35 zips.

For light distance I do 18 inches and keep a wooden ruler right at the tent for ease of use.

I think this is horse shit maybe 3 from 4 monsters with a 2 month veg in a 5 by 5 with co2 but i averagr around 25 zips per 720 growers choice in a 4.5 by 4.5 with co2
Are you vegging 60+ days? Saw your plants on another thread. Awesome looking garden!!! You are topping twice, super cropping?
