Its pretty simple. Resin glands are to plants like sunblock is too us. The more UV(B in this case) means more protection is needed. Now keep in mind the population of the trich field does not necessarily equal more potency. This is the part that confuses most. UVB has not been shown to increase THC% but has been proven to increase resin production. More resin means more THC by volume only......
