View attachment 1704260 Morning everyone ! here is a pic of my once was Maui. This plant and a B.C. Bud plant and one F1 went from beautiful to dead in a day. Does anyone know what kind of bug that eats all the outer bark just below the ground level about 2 inches. I did see some ants around the Maui and I found what appeared to be a grub next to my master kush. that I killed immediately.I live in the southwest near arizona.I have lost all but 3 plants !!! Just this year BUGS, DROUGHT, WIND, HEAT and RECORD LOWS have just about wiped me out. I have moved indoors using a 1000w light system with a dimmable balast. I have 10 Black Indicas that popped in 24 hours. I germinated for 24hrs planted them under the light set at 50% no problems yet I will watch for stretch and slowly increase the power on my ballast . I have never had such bad luck ! Just remembered I lost a Kush that a giant jack rabbit ate , he is dead now lol

I had the B.C Bud die about 3 weeks before , I thought the wind killed it the wind was at 65 mile gusts. But when I went to pull it up right under the ground there was nothing left. When you look at it close you can see were it was chewed. there was no warning at all!!!!

usually if you plant near an evergreen, you may encounter beetle larvae and they can do a helluva lot of damage in a matter of hours

The slime is from me putting it in water didnt help so I forgot about it !its from the water going stagnet.
If its not a fresh pic, how the hell do you expect anyone to tell what it is, but the trunk looks mildewy, so my guess would be that some kind of mold got in there and found a nice home,

I have seen a few pics of trunks suddenly "melting" that look like a mouse sized beaver at em, so im guessing a nasty mold.

I found a grub about 2.5 inches long and as wide as my finger. It was trying to burrow next to another plant. Could a grub have eaten the outer stem under the ground?

Maybe it was mold. I was watering extra due to the drought and wind. It stayed on the wet side.
So you have seen mold do this?

Sorry about the old pic, but it looks the same as it did when I pulled it up.

It does look like something ate at it like a beaver.
