What is wrong with my babies???

i would pick up techna flora recipe for success im having exellent results but theres always room for improvement but i picked up the box for 30 bucks really inexpensive and works great and when you get the chance and want to become a serious grower your gunna wanna invest in some gear being mh/hps lights or led i never used led but ive seen and read some good stuff here and there... here is a pic of my purple snowcap

Wow that is a beauty, man! Congrats. Yeah I have been thinking once I got a few grows under my belt, I will get some quality lighting. But where I live right now this isnt exactly legal. I would prefer to do that once I graduate college and move out. I am thinking Denver ;)

While we are on that light subject, I was looking at a journal from user D3monic where he grows inside a hollowed out TV (amazing journal!) and he uses these Blackstar LED panels. From the looks of his plants they worked wonders, but GODDAMN they are expensive. Does LED consume a lot of power? Right now, where I live, my main concern is power usage. My power bill is included in the rent, but the landlord is a bit of a cheapskate and if the bill spikes up too high he might come down and check if theres anything funky going on. L

Thank you and i think led is alot cheaper on power than mh or hps i would like to experiment with led but im strapped on the cash as well...

I know I am a pothead when my only motivation to get a job is to support my grow :D

You got it Bad dude....LOL
My advise is get a few grows done before you buy alot of stuff, cause ive bought alot of stuff from friends tht were all
gung ho and just didnt have the time to grow and being tied down alot.

If you do like it id look at Diy waterfarm.....When you get about 150usd for meters and nutes for a grow.
My last waterfarm grow was a Bigbud and got over 4ozs,in a scrog setup and a 600hps.And tht was no
popcorn nugs just the best buds made BHO out of the trim and popcorns.

my two cents on this matter: from the pics your leaves are curling up. same as my first thread here. and the problem was too much water not enough oxygen in the soil. and water may need Ph balance (i didn't read thread very thoroughly) and cal mag cause it's crappy! read this it s short: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/587116-leaves-curling-up-no-spots.html

And i bought an LED Blackstar $400 240W. i wouldn't buy another it works fine but nearly every serious grower i talk to uses 600W HPS and 600W MH. you can purchase a complete lighting system for $240 two bulbs and everything on amazon.com. unless you are really concerned about hydro costs i'd go ths way buying again! id have two rooms instead of one small one for the same cost. hyro costs for 600w HPS i bet no more than $5-$10 more a month.... my two cents

Here is that pic I promised you guys. Don't mock my ghetto Irish Spring shelves  The plants are on dark cycle right now, but tommorow after school I will take better more detailed pictures. The plants are looking good. I can tell from looking at them that they are getting better. I put Danny into a 1 gallon pot and Hope into a 6" pot. I want to see how the bigger pot size affects Danny. I watered it yesterday and soil is still wet, so I am guessing bigger pot size means longer time between waterings. Fed both of them with some VERY diluted 30-10-10 ferts and they seem to be perking up. Growth on Danny seems to be slower than on Hope, but then again Danny is younger.

THEORY: I have other plants other than cannabis in my grow box. I have basil and morning glory. Everyday when I wake up, I take my misting bottle and I mist all my plants. I was reading up on that on this forum and some other ones and there are people saying that misting too often is actually harmful to the plant. That it washes off the nutrients off the leaves and that it can cause problems. Could this be one of the reasons my plants were doing badly? (stunted growth and yellowing of leaves starting with the oldest sets) Should I stop misting completely?

@DirtDyVer The leaves arent curling up. If anything they are curling down. But I think youre right about the oxygen in the soil. I have been trying to find perlite but they dont seem to have it ANYWHERE nearby. I am gonna try to convince my friend from Orlando to send me a small ziploc with some since he bought the huge bag. Hopefully that airs the soil out a little bit more. As for the water, I use bottled drinking water. Could that be a problem?

@SOMEBEECH Thats the plan, man. Try to get at least 2-3 grows before I really invest money on this. Also, by the time I do 2-3 grows I will hopefully have money to invest
 The plan is to make a nice perpetual SOG in the box I got now, but with better ventilation and better lights. After all, I am only growing for my own personal consumption. Due to the extremely harsh pot laws in my country, an extra ounce could be the difference between probation or 3 years in prison. I hate prohibition :wall:

Daddy has pictures! Enjoy.

I don't know what it is. I don't know if it was the pot transplant, or the nute feeding. But these babies are back on track. I know the pictures might not look different to some of you, but to me this is the most growth I have seen in a one day period since I started this wonderful hobby. Just looking at the plants I can tell theyre getting healthier and that they are growing at a much better rate than they were before. I dont know why this makes me so happy but it does. Now the question is, do I continue the nute feeding, or do I switch back to regular water? And what about misting? Do I stop doing it or is it good for them? Also, what are your thoughts on superthrive? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get some opinions so I can hopefully prevent this from happening again.
