what is the best length of time to veg your ladies?..

2 weeks in, top them ladies. Then give it 2 more weeks and flip to 12/12. Some people prefer LST, and I'm not going to argue with it... but if your plant was tall enough when you topped, then you can use the top you chopped as a clone.

You should take some cuttings now b4 they go into flower and you won't have to do that whole seed thing, if you want.:weed:

Depends how big you want them to be and how patient you are! I vegged my current Jock Horror and Bubblelicious for 6 weeks before I turned the lights to 12-12.

They were both right around 2 1/2 feet when I flipped the lights. I'm at 33 days flowering right now and they are both around 3 1/2 feet give or take. I think they could be bigger but they are only in 2-gallon containers.

I think 6-8 weeks is ideal. Gives time to develop, train, transplant, but most importantly you will start to see preflowers around week 6. Even if you have feminized seeds, those preflowers are signaling the plant is mature enough to flip. That's my 2 cents.

veg until your plant is 1/2 the size of what you will be able to properly
supply the necessary resources to. This would not apply to some training techniques like a scrog, where you would veg until every new meristem is weaved into the next screen hole, flowered when each hole has one
