Growth like that typically results in imminent death...after harvesting that is lol...naww it’s probly fine. Weird though...strange bud structure. What strain??
Pineapple Apple Upside Down Cake from Surfr
Were fem and had 1 unstable pheno in the pack and this one has been funky the whole time too.

Always happy with surfrs genetics tho

Was there damage to it ? Too much light and heat can cause it but it's normally a bunch in a group when that's the case so God knows ? Some flower boosters like top shooter can cause mad growth like that too. I have grown some weird plants and seen some crazier plants that don't even really look like weed !

Hello everybody! I'm new. I will be glad to communicate and exchange information. I will help with all I can!
Could it be a light leak? It looks like it started vegging again and growing its stem instead of the bud.
This was my original thought- and honestly yes. My room right next to it I'm having a door put in Saturday but there's been a night or two where light has leaked for a few hours.

But I think more than 1 out of 80 plants would be doing this if so.

I thought the same thing, that's why I phrased it like a question. Something similar happen to me and my plant grew exactly like this, of course there could be multiple causes but I thought it was a weird coincidence. If the light is being absorbed by this particular plant, it may be possible that other plants wont be affected. If I were you I would still check out the buds in that area and see if anything similar is happening.

LMAO !! It appears to be normal reaction to excess IR and UV light. Shiny price tags seemed to register before the actual results. I bet 100/1 sales or ads were read over UV and IR thesis theories papers from actual sources.

Confused by your phrasing on some of this.

But the ROI lights im using dont have any UV in their spectrum if im not mistaken.

I think its revegging too, sice you mentioned light leakage. This could just be more sensitive pheno variation in this plant. On 80 plants I find one anomalous plant a good result.
