What is better? Soil Balance Pro or Mammoth P?

I've used Mammoth before but recently discovered Soil Balance Pro. Their website convinced me to try it but I'm hoping to hear about any experiences anyone has had with this product?

If I don't hear anything I will at least report back after I test it

What's the price like compared to the mammoth? I know that shit is pricey

The price looks expensive but when you do the math Soil Balance Pro actually comes out less expensive and seems to have a lot more stuff in it. Mammoth has widely varying application amounts between soil and hydro but since I'm using soil I will use that for the comparison.

Soil Balance Pro is $752 for a 200g bag which makes 2000 gallons and comes out to $0.37 per gallon. 6.1 trillion microbes per gallon with 62 unique strains.

Mammoth P is $695 for 4L which makes approximately 1600 gallons and comes out to $0.43 per gallon. 200 million microbes per gallon with 4 unique strains.

Soil balance recommends dosing every two weeks or every week if your budget affords it. Mammoth says every week. I'm doing it every week just for fun. I would love to do another test dosing every 2 weeks on soil balance against every week with Mammoth. Maybe next time.

When you ran the mammoth before did you notice a considerable difference from the pre-mammoth grows? The stuff is so damned pricey plus it is a supplement right? So you have the basic nute regimen as well as the mammoth? This shit can get real complicated sometimes

It sure can. I am by no means a highly experienced grower and I certainly don't have the infrastructure to run perfect side by sides. In fact I just grow outdoor in my garden and the only thing I add are the microbials. It's just a hobby of mine some might say. That bing said I did notice a significant difference after I started using Mammoth. I could just tell my girls were happier and healthier and the end result, with the same strain I always grow, was more dense with bigger aroma. So I have used Mammoth twice now and recently discovered Soil Balance. I've been following Bruce Perlowin on facebook for a while and he started talking about and using Soil Balance on his big acreage. After hearing about his successes I decided to give it a shot. So I have two plants scattered on my property and that is my highly unscientific side by side

I am realizing that if I dose per each companies recommendation then the cost of Soil Balance Pro goes down over half.

I'll have to go back and check my email. I just attempted to try and find it on eBay but..... I don't see it now. They're tiny 2oz bottles, luckily I purchased 3. I'll try and find it for you.

Those look like the bottles I received as part of a sample pack from them awhile back.
I'm doing a full run with the full size 500ml bottle now but I'm always looking for more. Let me know if you find those again. The only thing showing in eBays search is 4 60ml sample bottles for $55.

I tried it and sprung for it and I rarely use anything from a bottle. This stuff rocks.

Most definitely!!

Mammoth P is a great inoculant, one of the best. It certainly increases P availability & uptake. It's part of my "microbial arsenal".
Soil Balance Pro however is a whole different kind of beast, or should I say bunch of beasts, 62 different kinds to be exact. All working in unison towards the same goal of optimizing the health of the host plant whose roots they've colonized & ensure it's survival & in turn their own (I gave them a call). After 7 problem free runs, there's no doubt in my mind or pocket, that when it comes to inoculants this is the SHIZNITZ!!! My plant health & vigor is surreal! My terps went wild & my yields are up. Colors seem to be bolder too. I always read & learn on this forum but never post, but this is TOO good not to share.

I’m aware this thread is old and I haven’t tried mammoth P but holy shit. Just used this stuff on a strain I ran just before this one.

The terps are off the charts! You just get smashed in the face with flavour after ever burn.

Doing the rest of my plants with this stuff so will see if it’s a one off or this real does a make a noticeable difference.
