Hi all! Im New to this forum, and any cannabis forum for that matter. I have read alot about dwc but feel like i barely scratched the surface. There is so much info and variables..

To my question, what EC should i have in different stages? Im currently doing 0.75 and i think they are something like a week old or so. I can see second leaves coming up barely.

Ill add some pics shortly

PS. Not done building/getting materials for the dwc setup so i have them in the containers im gonna put in the lids, but in bowls atm.

They look fine

I typically use an eye dropper at this stage so as not to over wet the starter cubes

I have actually had plants start showing pistils with 300 ppm= ~ 0.5 EC. Just be careful until the plants have a nicely developed root system. I typically flower at 1- 1.2 EC

FYI, I have done plenty of DWC grows, but switched to F & D for it's greater ability to control the rez checking pH ppm/EC, temperature, level....

Here's a couple pics of my DIY

Thx for the replies appreciate it. Btw english is my second language so bear with me.

Yeah found out the hard way that rockwool really holds the water so im carefull not to soak it. One og my seedings had a hard time cause of it and eventually died.

I thought they looked a bit lanky and slow growth(though i have no clue) so maybe they needed nutrients. First few days i used 0.25 then 0.5 rest of the week. Start of week 2 (when i posted this) i went up to 0.75.
I try to aim for 5.8 PH but it varies a bit. I Will keep ur advice in mind and if they seem to be ok ill stay with 0.75. If not ill lower it to 0.5 again i guess.

Nice setup man can u explain it a bit?
And yeah the dwc is only for the Mother. Ill be doing rdwc or ucdwc for my actual grow when the time comes.

What is the advantage of F&D(flood & drain right?) over rdwc/ucdwc?

Oh and is this enough bubbles?

Can this change of colour be linked to overfeeding? Kinda yellowish/bright green. Started about same time as i changed the nutes and has evolved a tiny bit. IMG_20200529_212717.jpg

I don't really grow from seed much but I've never fed a plant that small when I did use seeds. I would really think a plant like that just needs water, maybe a drop of food mixed in a gallon wont hurt. I'm sure more experienced people will reply soon. I would drop ec to .25 for now till someone does respond in case I am right.

The rockwool goes almost completely dry before i wet it(not soaking it) some again so dont think the rockwool is the problem.

Btw found out my nutrients are made for soft water, but not sure my water is soft as i have 0.07-0.08 EC? Plus i added calmag which i know will for sure be overkill with the soft nute info at hand. Correct me if im wrong ✌

Ok ill do Just that, take it down to 0.25. Mixing up the bucket today

Also, can/should i still run with full recommended dosage of hydroguard? I ran with 1/8 of nutrient dosage and 1/4 of root fast dosage (about 0.25 EC total).

Appreciate the help guys rly hjelp

Bubbleponics does not have an outboard rez. Daily checking pH, EC, level of water line (nute consumption) is impossible once the plant gets sufficiently big

Your EC is too high at this stage
