What do I need to do to yield a pound/month?

I'm getting towards the end of my first grow. I thought I knew a lot before I started, realized I didn't know shit, learned a lot, and still know I don't know shit LOL but I'm getting there. Now I know there are a lot of factors that go into how much you actually yield, but I'd like some input from some of the pros out there on what I'm going to need to do to achieve what I'm looking for. The next grow space will be 9'x3', and I'm pretty set on using bubbleponics. If I have 4 6-planters, scrog, and use 3 400W HPS lamps, think it's possible to yield 1lb of dry bud?

And a random question, if I were to cool all 3 lamps with an inline tube, how many cfm would my fan need to pump in order to keep them cool?

If anyone is down, I am looking for some people to give me some good advice and bare with me while I throw ideas around and finally decide how I'm going to set this thing up. I have big dreams, and need some RIU knowledge to help me make the right decisions!

lol it's all good...you must really be the bongkong of your town . So you think it's possible? You think 3 400W would be enough? That's only about 45 lumens/sqft, but I don't want to go too crazy on the electrical bill...

Whats your rotation time planned for.....seed or clone?? all in one set up?? youre gonna need two rooms are you splitting that room on half? how tall do you want to grow them?? and I think with the fan whats the inch vent hole you have

Do you already have all this equipment or are you shopping I would say get two 600 watts and that would be great and even add some CFLs for side lighting...

Definitely going to start with clones. I know that I need twice the space if I want to harvest every month, so if I veg in a separate room and use the closet as my two flowering rooms, that means my goal is 1.5oz/plant. In the end, I'll be able to veg for 4-5 weeks before space opens up in the flowering room, correct? I plan on making my own air duct for the lights, so probably 6". Would it be a stretch to think that I could pull a pound off 12 plants?

HELL NO!! You got 5oz off one plant!!!! it was 3ft tall though its way doable way do able

but if you want it every month youre going to need three rooms. One for vegging one for flowering and one for a couple mothers.......only way I know of

Okay, sounds good. I might be able to spread this grow out between 2 apartments in the same complex, so that would be pretty legit when it comes to spreading out that electricity bill...I have much planning to do and money to spend...

And might I also advise on getting a smaller cloner it will help because I mean flowering is 8 weeks, I guess you could veg while the cloner is making the roots for you in can vegg in them for a minute too

your bill is going to go up no matter what bro....with three things going...however with the mothers get some T-12s and that wont be shit for electricity....also with the cloner do the same thing. T-12s are like $50 at a hydro store man and you can biuld a small room for mothers and put a cloner in a corner

Okay cool. I also live near some dispensaries that sell vegged clones at a pretty good price, so maybe I can work something out to where I never have to veg myself. Too much shit to think about lol

If you were to allow the plants to get to 3ft -4ft tall til the end with all six pods of your bubbleponic system

why the seperate room for mothers, Just keep your moms the same light as clones/seedlings/veg...you want two different phases of flowering but that could be done in the same room also...this is what i am doing:

VEG ROOM: CLONES, MOMMIES, & Vegging plants - Metal Halide so you can cover all your plants easily and make sure they get all the light they need.

Flower room: OK first plants are done vegging so fill half the room - 5 weeks later fill the other half of the room, now you have two stages of flowering and you harvest every month just keep your veg room full and ready to load up the flower room to replace anything you harvest....you could break your flower room down into more stages and get harvest up to every two weeks..especially if your using only clones for flowering you can really cut down the time between harvests if you got the space.

You can definitely yield a 1lb from your setup, but just not every month. Unless you have another room setup for vegging, your gonna have to wait a bit longer.

Furthermore, if your planning on buying "vegged" clones from a dispensary....that's gonna be a little difficult.

First off, I don't know of any dispensaries in LA (my area) that sell clones taller than 1 ft.
Second, it would be a little difficult transporting clones that are each at least 1-2 ft. tall.
Third, even if you buy some "vegged" clones, it's going to take at least 2 months for them to flower.

I guess it's possible, but it's not very practical.

Yeah, I hear co2 helps a lot. Do I have to buy a kit, or can I make my own for less if I get a tank and regulator?
