Been fairly busy.

Helping a mate bodge up a liveable cabin outta long shipping pallets, marine ply, bigass screws and expanding foam.... all standalone structure. none of it entirely square- (no ground prep).

Been clearing out 18yrs of junk in the shed, and getting some of the dusty crap from inside, gone. been through about the 3rd or 4th bin so far. 1 just for scrapped white goods. gettin another for the musty old couches and mattresses I'll have to strip. *cough* I can already taste it.

improved the garden bed layout and fudged off the old green house, as the bastid mice ate holes through the zips and windows. The new setup is made from an old steel bathtub, a table with no top- that fits the tub like a glove. And one- semi cracked perspex fishtank- for the tub run-off.
The rest of the green house is going in some planter boxes mum got from the local chrissy mags. mostly the small herbs. I've yet to plant in the new tub, as- I'm still making the dome to protect it all.

Caught some f'ing Northern Lights action the other night . I've never seen these lights this far south ( I'm in Upstate...Finger Lakes area. This is strange , I wonder if it's an indicator of environmental change? Perhaps just a flyer. Ke-riste , I'm smoked-up.

Broke second toe on left foot early Saturday morning, so hobbling around like an old man. Taped it to my big toe which helped with mobility as well as relieving some pain. Ice packs etc. I am highly experienced with broken toes. Wearing old Rockport Hikers until anything else is comfortable.

We are retired so not many places to be or anything.

Knee bends done, toe retaped and let Ms.Wife deal with the Wiener Dog.
