BTW, pic is more of a Baidarka (closed skin boat) than a Umiak (open skin boat).

I took some pics of this vintage custom-made Langlitz Leathers ballcap I bought at the Goodwill for $6.29 (it was actually $6.99 but I get the senior discount)

Some one posted a pic of doe and fawns somewhere here, thought I'd add this but no picture. I live in a smaller city 50K, residential. Sitting out on the porch about 6:30am drinking some tea the other day and around the corner of the house came a doe and THREE fawns no less than 20' away. First saw a fawn (spots about gone) out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a loose dog, then saw the rest of them. Didn't have my phone and couldn't really move without spooking them. They sniffed thru my roses and plants, didn't find anything to their liking walked right in front of me now less than 10'. Close enough I could smell them. Quite a rush.

When we lived on Beale we had a big buck that would come and eat the flowers off our rose bushes. We could hear his hooves on the sidewalk when he was visiting at O dark 30.
